“EVERYTHING WAS VERY GOOD! food portions are the ones I have a different opinion abt”
I have a very long review so in- short: 5 stars for the place, amenities, facilities, staff, and even the owner. If you’re commuting via their local bus, you’ll need some patience while waiting for it to arrive—but the place is definitely worth the wait. The main dishes didn’t leave a good impression on me. It might be better to bring and cook your own food. The fees should be clearly printed, updated on their website, and properly communicated to the staff so they’re aware of the current pricing and charges. This would help avoid misunderstandings. Will definitely go back! LONG REVIEW: The staff were VERY good. The owner was so friendly and accommodating to my whole family, and I’m really grateful for that—especially since they’re still new at this. They provided excellent service. Everyone was nice, always smiling, and you can even chat comfortably with them. Thank you so much for the FREE room upgrade, which allowed us to stay much closer to the pools and activities. The place and facilities are quite old, but you can see that they’re gradually being renovated. I was especially amazed at how well-maintained the pools are! The water and the pool itself are very clean—when you swim, the water feels fresh, and even the tiles underneath are squeaky clean. I’m a bit picky when it comes to pools, and they definitely passed my standards. Even with only a small number of guests at a time, they turn on all the fountains, waterfalls, and even the jacuzzi for everyone’s comfort and convenience. There are a lot of amenities to enjoy. The signal is weak, but with so many activities available, it actually helps you disconnect and have less screen time. It might be difficult to do work there—you can manage basic browsing, writing, or watching videos, but it’s not ideal for virtual meetings or heavy online tasks. The food is just MEH, and the portions are not meant for sharing with 2–3 people. Most main dishes are only good for two. For example, I ordered two buttered chicken dishes, but since they were just chicken wings, my family of 8 only got about two wings each (each order had 8 wings). The lechon kawali was also very thinly sliced—₱400 for just 8 pieces. Honestly, even a typical karinderia would serve BETTER portions. I’m just glad they didn’t charge us corkage fees. They mentioned a ₱500 fee for outside food for the whole stay and ₱100 per bottle of alcohol, but they didn’t apply it to us. I guess they made up for the poor food portions by not charging us corkage. We appreciated the exception since we brought a lot of food to cook (definitely a good decision on our part!). The free breakfast was very good, although the options are limited to tapsilog, longsilog, hotsilog, and tocilog. Still, it’s very sulit to include breakfast in your booking. The location is excellent for guests who have their own cars. For people like me who commute by bus and tricycle—especially when traveling with a dog and carrying a lot of food—you’ll need a lot of patience while waiting for the local transport. I hope the business continues to grow to the point where they can offer a free shuttle service for their customers. Very pet-friendly, but please make sure your dogs are vaccinated. The resort also has dogs and cats staying on the property. My dog unfortunately contracted a bacterial infection that caused gastrointestinal issues and is now confined. According to the vet, it can only be transmitted from other dogs. (It’s also worth noting that this was my dog’s first time walking outdoors this much, and my dog is fully vaccinated.) I hope the resort’s pets are also fully vaccinated and that pet waste is cleaned up regularly, as we noticed quite a bit of dried poop on the grass.
