I booked the Twin Lotus while I was at the hotel next door. I really disliked it, saw Twin Lotus online & the reviews. I managed to get a deal through Agoda and booked it. My partner had been sick with Zika, and spent all the last night with a fever - Twin Lotus emailed me twice about not being able to get an early check-in but that they could put him in one of the AC waiting rooms in the spa. After we got back from the clinic, they actually got us into a room. They were incredibly helpful and willing to help. They've cleaned our room for us sporadically, working with our schedule pending on how sick he's feeling. Our tub leaked and they immediately sent someone to fix it. Breakfast was honestly so nice, I really liked the little pancakes. The beach is so calm, it feels like a private beach. The security guard at the front helped me negotiate a tuk-tuk to pick up and drop off. The pools are all super nice. The one by the beach is usually crowded, but the garden one is so quiet. The dinner food is average hotel food. The gym is small but still super doable even when there's people in there. Some of the bed sheets and towels are a little stained. But apart from all of that, I'd rate this place a 8/10. I'd stay here again.
