“Haven of Peace and Tranquility”
After experience the hospitality of many hotels in Vietnam we find at last the peaceful and enjoyable environment offered by Tom Hill boutique resort and spa at Pho Quoc. This lavish green oasis is nested away from the busy, noisy and polluted main road. A walkable alley is connecting both. Initially we have a room with Mountain View. On check in we accept an offer to upgrade to an available at the moment room with Ocean View, which latter Trang, the owner free upgrade to villa suit. We have a good test of spacious, luxurious and comfortable stay with stylish interiors. This was secluded and tranquil place with magnificent ocean view. Interesting enough by reading some old reviews we found that the negative remarks in them have vanished at present. Trang, the owner was unstoppable of her determination to polish, improve and present the whole property at its best. In real time the landscapers transfer one dull lawn corner into a beautiful feature. The new head chef Mr Huy, a culinary magician made the buffet breakfast from good to excellent with great varieties of food. Several times we have dinner at the resort’s restaurant near the pool. I highly recommend Mr. Huy’s bruschetta, the new antipasto appetizer consisting of grilled bread topped with delicate capsicum and almond homemade dip. The sparkling clean swimming pool is good for swimming workouts. The length easily accommodates laps swimming. The amazing view, beautiful landscaped bonsai garden and the large swimming pool are unbeatable romantic setting for Tom Hill boutique resort and no wonder why it is a preferred place for weddings by the locals and tourists. The good news is that Pho Quoc island has special visa exemption for 30 days. That makes our return to Tom Hill boutique resort and spa easily done.
