"Pros: 1) Resort is located in the middle of the city (15mins drive from the Airport). Easy access to all the attractions. Walking distance to the night market 2) View from the resort is fabulous! Sun rise and sun set and the pool is big! (They have a bar in the pool as well) 3) The Resort is clean and nice! Cons: 1) Buffet food quite limited. Can have more choices. 2) The shops in the island closed at around 11pm. So try to get all the stuffs you need before all shops closed."

"It is a very good place to stay if you want to spend a lot of time at Vinpearl park or play golf. There are a lot of things to do for children: amusement park, waterpark, aquarium, games center, etc. All of it is included in the room rate. Good point about these places was that there weren't many people, especially comparing to Vinpearl park in Nha Trang. So you just come to any roller coaster or water ride and without waiting use it as many times as you want. The rooms were ok, comparing to five-star hotels in other countries rather simple. But everything was clean and new. The prices at the bar are overpriced. The restaurant food was delicious and of a large variety. One of the best locations in Phu Quoc island: beautiful territory, very nice beach area and a great-great pool. Not far from hotel is Turtle island known for its coral reef. I recommend going there for snorkling. "

"There is something very special about Salinda Resort. The staffs are warm, friendly, sincere, attentive and helpful. My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights at the Garden Villa. The room is big, clean, comfortable bed and nice warm layout making it relaxing even though there is construction going on next to the resort. The noise didn't affect our stay there. The resort maintains the grounds very well. Beautiful gardens and not forgetting the relaxing pool. NIce cocktails at the poolside bar. The sunset at the beach of the resort is something spectacular and not to be missed. So relaxed with the sounds of the waves at the beach and see the lovely sky. Bring your camera and take pictures of the breathtaking sunset. The breakfast buffet is delicious and good variety. Staffs are super efficient and attentive. Courteous and speak English. We truly enjoyed our stay at Salinda Resort. We want to compliment staffs Ms Ngoc at the restaurants for her good recommendation in helping us to select delicious dishes from the menu. Ms Hong, the Guest Experience Manager for her kind concern and attention when I hurt my right leg (I'm ok now. Thanks for the ice packed in the towel) and the cheerful front desk Ms Lap for suggestions made to our day tour. Not forgetting the delicious Crab House, a place not to miss if you are in Phu Quoc. Crabs there are awesome and delicious. Overall, Salinda Resort has exceeded our 5 star expectation. The staffs play a great role in making our stay such a lovely and memorable one. "It is indeed a very good resort with large space covered by lots of trees, spacious room with awesome furniture and good customer service. Room rate is quite reasonable given it is a 5-star resort. The location is also good to as it is located 5 km around Duong Dong town where visitors can find a variety of restaurants and access to Phu Quoc Night Market. The Shells Resort and Spa is worth a visit when you have chance to visit Phu Quoc Island. "

"We stayed in a 2 bedrooms villa, very big and clean. The staff Lance from the reception was extremely helpful who tried to help as much as he could. We couldn’t get the cash out of the ATM, he provided us the alternatives and options to make our stay very comfortable without using much cash. The theme and water park is very close to the hotel, provided us the shuttle bus to forth and back. We enjoyed our stay as the breakfast were good with many varieties. "

"We had a great stay at Sunset Beach Resort. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we had the most amazing time! The rooms were nice and big, very new, and the views over the ocean from the balcony were stunning. A must is watching the sunset from the rim flow pool on the second floor! Breakfast was different every day, which was a nice change from other resorts we had stayed at, and they had a huge variety of choices and good quality food. I will definitely be returning the next time we are in Phu Quoc! Thanks guys!"

"We almost felt the value for what the pics showed was too good to be true but when we arrived we were even more happy! We had the two bedroom villa and it was gorgeous! Immediately you felt at home in this beautiful villa. Everything felt like great quality and the beds, sofas, chairs were all very comfortable. The private pool was amazing and the landscaping made it all feel so tranquil and peaceful. Absolutely no complaints. Our only issue was the limited English but that is par with the course in Phu Quoc so its not really anything to complain about. Vinpearlland was awesome, and our boys loved it. The beach was empty and stunning so privacy and space was never an issue. The food wasn't very good in that it was boring after the second night. Being about a 45 minute ride to the main city meant that outside food options were not that close. We did take the evening shuttle to the market to eat dinner a couple of times in order to get away from the buffets. Will be back though!"
