Guesthouses in Manchester

"The staff is absolutely brilliant and the location is spot on, although the hotel itself needs a good refurb. Beds really comfy, TV signal was cutting off, the heating in the bathroom and our room was on, even though it was absolutely boiling outside. First night felt like we were in sauna, so we had to check out earlier. Maybe other rooms are ok, but room 7 is definitely not the best. "

"Love this hotel and humble staffs. Nearby the tram stations. Not so safe to travel at night since i've encountered a drunk man before in the stations. Overall its good and value for money. Will stay here again if i visit Manchester again in the future."

"We booked a triple room for a mum, a dad and an 17 year old for 4 nights. Upon checking in, we were greeted by the owner and given Wi-Fi password. The lady also kindly helped with the luggage. We stayed in Room which had 3 single beds, 2 wardrobe, a TV and a huge radiator behind our beds. They provided hangers, which was nice, but we couldn't use most of them as they were children hangers. Our room was behind this door that had 2 other rooms, but the door was extremely noisy and hard to open and close quietly, which affected our quality of sleep. We were unlucky enough that the rooms on both sides were not quiet people, and the room above us was extremely noisy, especially with their footsteps early in the morning. Our room we had definitely did not look like the photos. The beds were not the most comfortable beds, there was one in particular where you could feel the springs, you can tell by the condition that the beds, the pillows and the duvets are poor quality and old. You also had to share the bathroom which isn't a big issue as they are kept clean majority of the time, unless you are unlucky enough to get dirty and messy guests during your stay. Again, do not be misled by the photos, the bathroom we used did not look that modern. However, the radiator, TV and Wi-Fi all worked fine. For the price, you can't really 'complain'. Cons: -Thin Walls -Old Beds -Out-of-shape duvets -Shared Bathroom Pros: -Great Location, very close to central city (we had a car so we're not sure about access to public transport in that area) - Radiator, Wi-Fi, TV Overall, I would recommend if you are on a budget.
