Where to stay in Manila Bay
Manila Bay hotels & accommodations

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in in Manila. From the lobby interiors, to the room, and even the staff. All worth it. Very accommodating and customer-centric as they delivered a birthday cake to our room because it was a post-birthday staycation, and the front desk even went up our room on our behalf when we forgot something upon check-out. Housekeeping was also v...

Near new hotel and room immaculately clean. We had Deluxe Bay view room with stunning view of Manila Bay, Ferris wheel and MOA. Perfect location as short walk to everything including MOA, Ocean walk with plenty of fun rides for the kids. Mall of Asia shops so big easy to get lost. Swimming pool was also stunning and immaculately clean. Not cheap but worth the money as ...

Overall we had a great stay at the Hyatt City of Dreams. There was a minor issue with our room and the Assistant Manager at the Front office: NELYSSA BERNARDO was exceptional at handling our concerns and taking care of the situation. The customer service was well deserving of 5 stars. and we really appreciated all her hard work. The rooms are new, modern and very spa...

We really enjoyed our stay since they have everything we liked for a 5-star hotel + Japanese/Zen ambiance. Room is big--- overlooking Manila Bay, super tidy sheets, comfort room, closet (with complete ironing set) room accessories are top of the line( LED and docking station), lighting are great too! Hotel amenities like the Casino access, outdoor pool, the dining s...

We absolutely love Golden Phoenix hotel. Great location in walking distance to SM Mall of Asia as well as the Manila Bay waterfront with all the carnival type rides. Breakfast is great and a good selection of food to choose from. Also their cafe on the second floor has very good coffee, beverages and pastries/cakes and at a reasonable price. I love how nice the staff a...

I booked a 10th Floor Grand Bayview Corner Suite for one night at Solaire. The staff are highly trained Filipinos who are very polite, accommodating, energetic, sharp and they seem to love their jobs. Excellent Management. The room was very spacious, with two (2) large Flat Screen TVs, Long L-Shaped Leather Sofa, Las Vegas Style Bar, King Size Bed, Digital Safe, Wri...

I stayed here on my last 3 nights of my 18 day trip to the Philippines. Although I've been to Manila a couple times in the past, this was the first time staying at this hotel. I've seen this hotel on my previous travels here and wanted to stay here, so this time I got to try it. Although reviews may vary, I found this hotel quite good, and much better than the other Ho...

First stay here, although often stay in Manila Bay/Mall of Asia area! Half the price of the previous Hotel I used and although basic ie no toiletries or fridge in the room, it is clean, very efficient shower, plenty of restaurants within walking difference and 150 pesetas max in a taxi to Mall of Asia. Would definitely recommend!

A very nice, bordering on elegant hotel in Manila Bay. The concierge features friendly staff and amenities that are difficult to find at this price. Our room had a comfortable queen-size bed, a refrigerator and a kitchen. The grounds were very neat and the swimming pool made a great background for family pictures. The hotel provided some drinking water and glasses for ...

We booked here for a Deluxe Room with a Balcony and a Queen Bed. Upon check in, the girl in the front desk told us that the room we booked for was "DELUXE A" and it doesn't have a Balcony. We were very tired that day. And just to save us for an argument we settled for the room. Then we went upstairs and entered the room, you could definitely smell cigarette smoke. Then...

This is my 5th stay at the Homebound at Sea Residences, every time i stay i get the same high level of service. Gio and Gary are great people to deal with and very accommodating during my stay. Check in and out was done very efficiently and Gary is very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay near the MOA and dont want to spend a lot of mo...

this hotel is right on the water, manila bay. all other hotels in the area are across a big 6 lane street. new hotel, good security, restaurants were good also plus manila ocean park is beside the hotel if you are interested in going. i got a free upgrade from a regular bay view room for a deluxe bay view room, so i wound up staying about 6 nights total. so i loved the...

I opted to book this hotel for my partner’s birthday because of good reviews. It did not disappoint! The room (Junior Suite) was situated in the corner of the building. We had the view of Manila Bay on one side and the Rizal Park and Quirino Grandstand on the other. We caught a glimpse of the fountain show and fireworks at the Manila Ocean Park and the fireworks at MOA...

My staff and I stay at the Microtel certain times of the year- usually Jan and March our events at the Arena. It is the most convenient hotel in terms of price vs. location. Tryp was a refreshing alternative to Microtel. A modern and hip upgrade with the same high quality service Ive come to expect from the Wyndham group. Although I barely stayed in the hotel to enjo...

The apartment itself was perfect. A bit on the small side but it had everything we needed. The staff are friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the area is being heavily developed so there are construction sites all over. 6am the machines are churning at the latest... I got conned in Manila airport by the taxi service and was charged double the rate for the 10 minute ...

Booked this condotel for several days in anticipation of the transportation issues that will be brought by the 2015 APEC Summit in Manila. Location was excellent, as it was walking distance from Mall of Asia and my office. There were also several food establishments and convenience stores on the ground floor. The unit itself is self sufficient for an extended stay as...

Booked the place for an overnight stay last January 1 -2, 2017. Highlights: Unit Owner was responsive in sms/calls regarding the booking. Unit was clean and smells good upon arrival. I like that it has a balcony overlooking the Pool Area. Equipped with Stove, Refrigerator, Kitchen wares and utensil. Cable TV, and Wi-Fi is readily available inside the unit. It ha...

Good: Accomodating staffs (Hi ate Irish and the guy on the lobby and also to the owner of the hotel thru text hehe) I will recommend ate Irish as your hotel assistant because she’s willing to answer your questions and she’s just one call away if you need her. The place is spotless clean, very comfortable bed. It has an amazing view of the magnificent Manila Bay. This unit is close to everything. I will definitely book again. The lobby is huge. The unit has high-end design and feels luxurious. Definitely worth the price.

The staffs are very accommodating. The rooms are clean and complete with cooking wares and utensils, washing machine is also available. There's 24 hrs convenient store at the ground floor. Taxi is also very easy to find. Very close to the airport, casinos and walking distance to the mall and night life....highly recommended!

sea residence is good when it comes to amenities, cleanliness and very friendly staff of the condominium. downside is the lessor / or owner and the agent. the owner did not even bother to greet us even though she was introduced to us by the agent not even a smile (as far as i remember)... during signing of some papers at the lobby, the agent even ask us "bayad na na...

Really enjoyed staying here. From the very start when Norma met us, things went smoothly. Bed is comfy & even though I didn't cook the kitchen was well stocked. Nice the condo had a washer & hairdryer. To top it off it had Netflix too. Can't say enough about how great the condo was & such a pleasure communicating with Anne the owner. We had a late night flight so ...

Location, facilities, service, and food were all great! Didn’t expect it from Hotel Sogo to be honest. It did not look shabby at all compared to other branches. The only con probably is our room didn’t have a fridge and no drinking water was provided. But their room service was quick, and the items were reasonably priced.

affordable room rates; relaxing amenities like swimming pool; while just a little comment for the trash in every room, no hotel attendant to collect garbage nor to change beddings, don't know if it is the policy of the hotel. I just observed from our nearby rooms that they just put their garbage just outside their rooms or at the lobby which can disappoint to other occ...
Cheap places to stay in Manila Bay

In this review I'd like to give credit to the people who work in this hostel and do their best to offer cheap accommodation to people who can't afford anything else. This is not a place for travelers, unless they are on a really tight budget. The dorms are crowded, there are children crying every now and then and the light will be switched on and off even after midnigh...

Maganda yung unit pati ung mga gamit, very good for staycation. Balak ko pa nga sana balikan kaso ung staff na nag assist is hindi ko nagustuhan na pinag antay pa kame and gusto ideposit na lang niya sa bank ung deposit namen upon check in. More on process siguro sa staff ang need for improvement.

Room is with fridge, cooking utensils, water heater, rice cooker, hot/cold shower, sink, cable tv and aircon. With free parking. It is spacious and overlooking manila bay. Just a few minutes from moa. Jerry Go is very accommodating and helpful. There is 24hr reception/guard and place is secure.

It was our first time to stay at SHORE Residences. The room is extremely amazing with all the necessities you need. I will say complete of what you need like a big refrigerator, TV, wifi, washing machine, hot and cold shower, gas range, flat iron, electric fan, microwave, toaster, water purifier, hot and cold shower, Japanese electronic toilet and a lot more. One of the best rooms we've been to. Everything is complete, you can cook your meals, have enough storage space for clothes, toiletries, all the appliances are working. The wifi is also fast, and the staff are accommodating. We highly recommend this place since a lot of shops are also accessible around the building it won't be a problem if you need anything to buy. ...

I booked a certain priced room with balcony, then they tell me because I was a last minute booking.....the day before that this is all they have available. It was a small unit for a family. There were bunk beds in the living room. Then put in front of that was what would be considered 1 1/2 times size chair or a 2/3 love seat, not comfortable and made the whole plac...

We really loved the place specially the room. We are 4 in the group and we thought that there's no enough space for us. We're very surprise that we even thinking we can still fit 2 more people. The owner accommodated us very well, even if it's a holiday and there's no Administration available. We had no issue. For sure we will go back to this place. Thank you!

If you want some quiet time in the midst of the city with a very relaxing view from the balcony, this is the place to be. The host was really kind and accommodating. Location! Location! Location! The place has a great location, just in front of Mall of Asia. However, there's no mini grocery store inside the condo, if you need to buy even bottle of water, you need to walk to MOA or Phoenix. I just thank God that the fast food delivery in Manila are servicing 24/7. We arrived around 2 am and there's staff who accommodated us. I call...

The owner of the unit is flexible with checkout time in case he does not have a same day check in I consider this to be generous because it saves both money and trouble. Wifi internet is good enough most o...

Take a picture to make sure our security.as my friend will stay in Manila for a whole day more.they take care of him so well even my friend doesn’t speak English.i will definitely come back again

Location is perfect for the purpose of our trip to Manila. Its near the airport, mall of asia, and the casinos in manila bay area. WiFi is fast and free. 24hours convenience store beside the hotel. Easy to get a taxi just outside the hotel. We definitely recommend this hotel, and we will stay again next time.

To be honest at first i thought everything was dubious, but tried it out simply because it was in agoda. The condotel had no proper parking space since most were owned by condo owners. I had to park in front, outside... but my car was safe and didn't had to pay too much attention to it. When i arrived, my contact person wasn't answering and replies were delayed but whe...

Booked this unit. Credit card was charged. Then I was a given a message from the owner that they gave my rental away. Was told that they would contact Agoda and get me a refund. As the sun dips below the horizon, the sky transforms into a canvas of oranges, pinks, and purples, creating a magical moment that is truly unforgettable. This view can be best enjoyed from various vantage points along the waterfront, where couples, families, and solo travelers gather to soak in the serene ambiance.
The lively atmosphere surrounding Manila Bay adds to its charm. The area is bustling with activity, from street vendors selling local delicacies to families enjoying leisurely strolls along the promenade. Visitors can indulge in a variety of experiences, including live music performances, cultural events, and art installations that showcase the local talent. The blend of natural beauty and cultural vibrancy makes Manila Bay a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to the Philippines.
For those looking to experience the bay's allure in a unique way, consider taking a sunset cruise. These boat tours allow you to glide over the tranquil waters while enjoying panoramic views of the skyline and the iconic landmarks that dot the bay. Whether you choose to relax on deck with a refreshing drink or capture the perfect Instagram shot, a cruise offers an unforgettable perspective of Manila Bay's beauty.
Essential Travel Tips for Manila Bay Adventures
When visiting Manila Bay, it's important to keep a few essential travel tips in mind to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. First and foremost, safety should always be a priority. While the area is generally safe for tourists, it’s wise to stay vigilant, particularly in crowded places. Avoid displaying valuables and be cautious when using your phone in public. It's recommended to stick to well-lit areas at night and consider using reputable taxi services or rideshare apps for transportation.
Another useful tip is to familiarize yourself with local customs and practices. The Philippines is known for its warm hospitality, so a friendly smile and a simple “Salamat” (thank you) can go a long way in connecting with locals. Additionally, be respectful of cultural norms, especially when visiting religious sites or participating in local traditions. Understanding these customs will enrich your travel experience and help foster positive interactions with the community.
Getting around Manila Bay is relatively easy, thanks to its well-connected transport options. Public transportation, such as jeepneys and buses, can be an adventure in itself, but for a more comfortable experience, consider using taxis or ride-hailing services. Walking along the bay's promenade is also a delightful way to explore the area, allowing you to take in the views at your own pace while discovering hidden gems along the way.
When to Experience the Magic of Manila Bay
The best time to visit Manila Bay largely depends on your preferences for weather and activities. The dry season, which typically runs from November to April, offers the most pleasant conditions for outdoor exploration. During this period, you can expect sunny skies and lower humidity, making it ideal for enjoying sunset views or taking part in water sports. However, be aware that this is also peak tourist season, so popular attractions may be busier than usual.
For those who prefer a quieter experience, consider visiting during the shoulder months of May and October. While temperatures may be slightly higher, you can enjoy fewer crowds and potentially lower hotel rates. Additionally, the rainy season from June to September brings occasional showers, but this can also add a unique charm to the bay, with vibrant greenery and cooler temperatures. Just be sure to check the weather forecast and plan your activities accordingly.
Special events and festivals throughout the year can also enhance your visit to Manila Bay. Keep an eye out for local celebrations, such as the Feast of the Black Nazarene or the Manila Bay Cleanup Day, which showcase the rich culture and community spirit of the area. Participating in these events can provide a deeper understanding of local traditions and create lasting memories during your stay.
