Where to stay in Makati
Makati hotels & accommodations

For years I have come to Manila and stayed in the City Garden Makati Hotel which is across the road from this one. The grand Hotel is everything that the older Hotel is but just what it says ....much more grand!! Now we have chandeliers in the lobby and a magnificent roof top pool and restaurant with stunning views over Makati. The rooms are great, new and provide g...

Impeccable service, wonderful facilities, best location in Manila as it's a 5 minute walk to Makati City's Greenbelt mall and peripheral malls. Short distance to great restaurants. Drivers on demand. An absolute 5-star urban hotel. I stay there oftener business, and I now bring my finance' on most trips. in terms of convenience, size, and location - it could be t...

You can stay at the Shangri La and pay a lot more money, and you can enjoy the aging plumbing and lights in your room. Or you can stay at the Peninsula, and enjoy being treated as a visiting family member. The location is as good as you can have in Makati. The hotel is across the street from everything. The stock exchange, the beautiful park, all the malls, Glorietta, ...

the place was difficult to find, after all, this is makati's best kept secret, but after a quick phone call to the hotel for directions, you'll realize that it is probably the most centrally located or all makati hotels. there is a reputable bar/resto, international foods grocery, and spa downstairs! the nice shopping malls like glorietta and greenbelt can be reached...

my stay there was okay. the location was good due to other venues being close by. the front desk staff were friendly and courteous, but, it depended on the shift i had to deal with and, the staff member or members. the bell hops were great, very courteous and helpful. breakfast was good and, the service was excellent. i stayed in a studio room and, it was okay. the wif...

This is a beautiful new hotel in Makati at a very reasonable cost. Easy check-in. Very professional staff. You feel very safe and protected in this hotel. It's near the red-light district -- so not well suited for a family vacation. Shopping is about 10 minute taxi ride away at Glorietta and Greenbelt. Lots of restaurants nearby. THe downside is that the hotel i...

Fantastic friendly staff, very inexpensive hotel in Makati. Overall I was quite happy with my stay. It would have been a lot better if they had more options on their buffet breakfast. . Rate is quite low for a Deluxe and it looked really new and spacious the room was equipped with all the basic amenities and it also came with free wi-fi. Excellent staff service, wond...

the reason why i moved to ascott makati were the bad experiene i had from bsa tower. they accused my brother that he took away dirty towels. the staff were very unprofesional. therefore i searched for a new hotel and i was not wrong to choose ascot makati hotel. location, amenities including washing up liquid was available. i will consider to stay again with this hotel...

Holiday Inn is a wellknown hotel in the world needless to say, however, this hotel in Makati is a brand new and superior than the Holiday Inn I have experienced in the USA. I would recommend this Holiday Inn for the traveller who is looking for an accomodation closer to the hotel one class higher but do not wish to spend for same. I stayed for a business purpose this t...

I could not say enough nice things about this hotel. There are a handful of hotels in Makati claiming to be 5 stars and they are more like 3.5 or 4 stars. The standard at Fairmont I'd more like 7 stars. It is such a clean hotel, inside and out. I did not feel cautious walking around barefoot in my room bc it was that clean. I was very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed...

Enjoyed stay at Y2 Hotel, located in Makati. Hotel is rather new, has decent fitness room and rooftop pool. Only short walk away from shopping center -- which boasts HOOTERS! Burgos Street is about 5 min walk from hotel. What made stay at Y2 even better was free room upgrade, per originally booked room type was full prior to arrival. Staff were very accommodating, so w...

Best value for money hotel in Makati. all staff from doorman to room maids were simply awesome, nothing was a problem to them, the front desk performed flawlessly. the roof top pool and rooftop restaurant were aligned with the big hotels claiming 5 stars. would not hesitate to stay here again, centrally located, bars and food venues on your doorstep. The rooms, w...

i reserved this for my relative with kids. the location is very ideal if you want to stay within makati CBD. walking distance to ayala triangle park and the salcedo weekend market. it is 5 minutes away by car going to ayal malls. place is spotlessly clean and spacious. the staff is attentive and their courtesy is just how a hotel does it - im impressed! i would defin...

The Charterhouse is the best located budget hotel in Makati right in front of Greenbelt 5 mall and you don't even have to cross any large roads. The hotel is old-fashioned in style but clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The meals are not very exciting but there are many coffee shops and restaurant nearby sp it doesn't matter.

Had a Business Meeting and the Guys I was meeting were staying here, so I thought to make life easier would book also. Very Impressed, Nice Clean Modern Hotel, Friendly prompt check in. Centre of Makati pretty Busy Traffic wise during the day, but then just about everywhere in Manila/Makati is! Room very nice, on a high floor with good views out over the city, Comfy Be...

I enjoyed my stay in aruga hotel. I'll definitely come back. The hotel lobby is very clean, so relax , nice smell , staff are very efficient and helpful. It's a very exclusive hotel and very peaceful . Upon arrival there were available staff to help us with our bags . We checked in smoothly. The rooms are all equipped with washing machine and dryer, stove , microwave ,...

The Suites are located close to the business district of Makati in Manila and only about 20 minutes away from the airport (depending on the traffic conditions). The rooms are not new but very nice and spacious, ideal for a business person to stay. A number of nice restaurants are around but not on the cheap side. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. Very good...

We just had our overnight stay at One Pacific Place last Oct.9-10,2012. Although I have read a negative feedback on this in trip advisor, we decided to give it a try because 1) it is just a walk from my husband's office (LKG Tower, Ayala) 2) I found a good discount for this in Agoda.com and 3) I read the General Manager's reply for the negative feedback in the same ...

Makati hotels can be pretty pricey hence I was surprised by the price I got from this hotel. The hotel is very new. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. I feel like we got more than what we paid for. Breakfast was really good. The buffet was not that extensive but won't leave you hanging. We would love to stay here again should we need a hotel in Makati in the f...

This was one of the cheaper options in Makati, right in the heart of the Greenbelt area. As a solo female traveller, the area felt very safe compared to other parts of Makati I've stayed at. The deluxe suite I booked was very spacious and apart from some water damage on one wall of the room, it was clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and attentive -...

I’ve also stayed at the BSA Twin Towers location and although that place has better features and in my opinion cleaner and fresher feeling, this place is excellent for those looking to eat, shop, or relax with business to attend to in Makati. The price is well worth the value. I do prefer the higher room types rather than simple studio like I took this time but it was ...

The location of the hotel is excellent. Right beside all the shopping and 5 mins walking distance to Glorietta Mall, Green Belt, etc. Its also nearer to the airport than hotels in Makati Ave, so taxi fare can be negotiated down to 200-250p.. its rare that you find an honest taxi driver willing to go by the meter. Staff were efficient and helpful and because the hot...

The staff were very accommodating. What you see is what you get in the photos published online. The room was spacious and clean. However, their electric stove and washing machine are charged at Php. 200.00 each per day. What's not just recommended when staying here is bringing your car. Their parking fee is SOOOO EXPENSIVE. We checked-in at 2:00PM then checked-out ...

This was my first stay at the Guijo Suites in Makati, booked through Agoda due to its good reviews. While I have stayed previously at the Marriott, Intercontinental, Shangri-La, etc., and all of them are quite good and well located, the Guijo Suites in Makati was, however, the best hotel I have stayed at in Makati/Manila, and the absolute best value that is available....
Cheap places to stay in Makati

MNL in an unpretentious hostel in an excellent location in Makati. It's quiet inside even though there is a hustle bustle outside. My mattress was soft and the WiFi was excellent. For this price, I expected a cold water shower; I was delighted to find hot water! Other places charge for a towel while MNL provided a towel as a matter of course. The place could be a lit...

this hostel is great value for the money, it could be the best-priced hostel in manila right now with value worth one's money. free breakfast (not just bread and jam) is provided for all, and you can eat your breakfast anytime really (no time limits). wifi is fast and works in all rooms. beds have curtains so there is privacy. 5mins to the mrt by local transportation, ...

Hotel is situated in the lively part of Makati. Walking distance (about 10 mins) to Greenbelt. It's also close to Century Mall, although I didn't visit the mall this time. I booked the single room with shared bathroom (Room 6) the room is situated on the noisy side of the property, so I didn't get a good rest but upgraded to a single room with own CR which was much n...

The location of Our Awesome Hostel is perfect, close to bars and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. There's a roof deck with a wonderul view of The Fort and Makati business districts. The 2 owners are very accommodating that they would meet their guests personally and tour them around the city. Indeed an awesome hostel!

Honestly not expecting much since this is a budget hotel but when we came in, the place is really nice for its size, love the hippy vibe of it and the staffs are really nice and professional. The room is clean when we get there, the sheets and covers smells nice and the bathroom has hot and cold shower. Cons * doesnt provide any toiletries * towels served late so we ...

I stayed here last weekend when I ran in the NatGeo Run 2016 at BGC - McKinley. This was the nearest hostel so I booked a bunk at one of the mixed dorm rooms. I went for the bed nearest the A/C unit; there was an electrical socket there so I chose that over the one in the middle of the room initially offered to me. However, the mattress was sunk in the middle so I kep...

Very nice and relaxing....The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. The hostel as a whole was very clean, the restrooms come with hot and cold showers (fresh towels everyday are free), the lobby is always clean, quiet, and relaxing. There is free fast Wi-Fi Internet in the rooms and in the lobby. Hostel provides good size lockers free of charge. ...

The place was great and overall clean. Facilities were nicely decorated and well taken cared of. It has a hang out room with a pool table at the top and a pretty nice bar on the second floor. The staff was super friendly and helpful, for example the first night the AC was a bit too cold for me, told the receptionist and got it sorted out. There was only one thing I di...

I fly to Metro Manila once monthly for work and can’t express how happy I am to have found this place... Originally booked 3 nights but stayed 2 weeks! Staying in Poblacion, Makati is super convenient for getting to/fro airport (9km, ~30 mins by Uber and around the metro)... it’s a safe residential area that’s becoming the go-to party district for expats, backpackers a...

I didn't regret my choice to stay in Lub D hotel in Makati City (Poblacion). Everything we had experienced here were truly good memories to keep in our hearts. I read almost all the Agoda reviews which really help me to choose this hotel. I found out what they had commented are true! Thank you guys! I'll surely recommend this hotel to my friends and families. Definitel...

The Makati Junction Hostel is a wonderful place to stay. The staff makes you feel welcome if you give them a chance to fulfill a request. Aiza particularly stands out. in regards to the service she provides. The location of the hostel is ok. It is located just outside of the Makati entertainment district. The street is quiet. The hostel is located a few minutes walk...

I travel overseas once a year and most of the time I utilize hostels because it is mainly affordable for a backpacker like me (mostly SEA countries). So I was happy to know that we have a growing hostel community here in Ph. Z hostel in particular. It's location is on Makati, the most 'Posh' part of Manila, I hope they'll branch out to the less posh areas like Cubao...

We stayed at VIP Suite Apartelle on our 3rd night in Manila because the other hotel where we were staying at had no rooms available to extend our stay. I carefully reviewed other peoples comments about VIP Suite Apartelle and we were lucky enough to get their last available room and booked it with Agoda.com Initially, we were a bit apprehensive when the taxi dropped u...

Hometown hotel is the best place to stay in Manila for the price, location, cleanliness and hospitality. I know Manila and I've stayed at numerous places throughout the city. A 10 minute cab ride or 2 minute public transit MRT ride will take you to Ayala center/Greenbelt in Makati. You have the luxury of being right in the center of the city, whether it's city of dre...

Tucked into one of the smaller roads within Makati, this Inn allow interaction with ordinary locals yet accessible to upmarket facilities & tourists' wants. One of the few hotels that offer a family room (4 persons) at a reasonable rate. You'll need to quickly learn about jeepney travel, though. However, the nearest MRT & LRT & PNR lines are under PHP100 taxi rid...

The place was clean. You can hail a jeep to prc from lrt buendia & vice versa. The only appliance is a tv with tv plus, airconditioner, hot and cold shower & electric kettle. No mugs nor free coffee or water but well thats the only thing i paid for. Too bad no direct access or jeep to ayala. You can hail s trike or walk 900km to rcbc plaza. The staff were nice & the pl...

I've loved OYO since we booked a room from their property in Solace Hotel. West Makati Hotel is 100% controlled by OYO and I loved it! Sure the location seems a little shady but it is near a lot of restaurants and establishments. I commend the receptionist and other staff for being accommodating and friendly to us. It looked like a small, basic hotel from outside and t...

I had an awesome stay at this Spaces By Eco Hotel, St Legaspi Village, Makati City, Manila, Philippines recently. Great location. Walking distance to major shopping spots & restaurants – Green Belt, Glorietta, etc., The rooms are nice and very clean. Wouldn't say they were huge but not super tiny either. The bed was very comfortable and with Wi-Fi & AC and hot water s...

the place is near at everything especially makati district, ate teresa is very accomodating the place is like your own house you can stay comfortable and you can cook on your own with their kitchen and every morning they serve pandesal with different kind of spread to choose,i will choose to stay again in this house the next time!

I booked this hotel when I have a last minute trip to Manila. I have not stay here before and due to budget issue, I decide to stay here after finding that their Studio Deluxe is on Promotion. The Hotel is way better than I expected despite the poor rating. The staffs are very proactive and friendly. The bellboy help me carry my luggage from the ground floor to 3rd fl...

The location is really nice, right at the heart of Makati, walking distance to a lot of nice spots. Upon check-in, I asked the person who met us at the door if she was Teresa, to which she replied no. She was pretty sour, and even rudely exclaimed "excuse me!" when I started walking to what looked like a little reception area in order to drop my things (I was unaware...

I've booked this room three times already. That should tell you that I believe this is where you get the best value for the peso in this part of Makati. In fact, I plan to book here whenever I am traveling with my lady. The breakfast is Spartan, but that is not a problem because we can buy some breakfast food at the market around the corner and fix our own breakfast...

We spent our New Year's eve in this hotel for the first time. The location is good, easy to find and accessible to Makati CBD and Makati Cinema Square which are popular shopping districts. In terms of cleanliness and the room, it is outstanding, the bed is very comfortable and the all furniture and fixture are well kept and available for easy use (each room have microw...

Very nice hotel in Makati. Well suited for business travelers and couples. The entrance can be a little confusing with the lobby in the underground car park, but the rooms sure do make up for it. My one bedroom suite had a full kitchenette that was actually stocked with all the items you need - cups, plates, cutlery, pans, dish washing detergent etc. This is so v...

This is the first time I stay at this hotel and it was a great stay. The rooms are very nice, big comfortable bed, clean, and tons of TV channels including English ones. I would definitely stay there again. The only con is that it is near Makati Avenue so can be a bit noisy in the mornings...bring your earplugs.

pros: very clean. with provided toiletries and slippers the room that we got is very spacious. twin beds, storage spaces, a heater and a ref. with available hair dryer. I specifically asked for a room with twin beds, upon check-in, we were intially in a room with a queen sized bed, however we were able to transfer in the afternoon upon request. note, this is upon AVAI...

Had a great stay. The unit is brand new with a nice view of the city. It is right next to a park and just 3 minutes by walk to the Ayala Malls. This place is in the heart of the Makati Business Center which makes its location ideal for business or pleasure. It is surrounded by restaurants of every kind and taste. The room is excellent with a 50 in. T.V. with lot...

I booked the hotel for a short stay before leaving Philippines. We saw the place advertised with large pools. Since I have kids who loves to swim, booked it. Once arrived in the condo, we were told about house rules: first, pool is not inclusive and have to shell out another P150 per head. Big disappointment since that was the main reason of choosing the condo. From th...

The price is reasonable for the place. It has all the basics you need. An ok place for a short stay. The building is on top of the mall so you can get whatever you need from there. The room itself was old. The bed is very rickety and the desk and cabinets have broken pieces. The mattress and towels are too old and has seen better days. The exhaust in the bathroom is n...

Steps from the Century City mall and close to other Makati nightlife. Very clean, no bugs. If you're sensitive to noise, be aware that a massive building is being built directly in front of this unit, and you can hear construction noise at all hours. It didn't bother me as I use a white noise machine to sleep. I stayed for several days and had to request fresh towe...

Very disappointed with the service. Later did I know that the hotel at Makati is no longer operating. We weren’t informed and the consumer service even confirmed the booking a day before we checked in. We had to look for another branch and had to wait for more than an hour to effect the transfer. The receptionist suggested that we book another room while waiting for th...

I had to call Agoda customer service to get the owner’s number because 2 days before our check in I still had no idea which unit, tower etc we were going. No instructions at all just to contact the caretaker who never replies to texts! We had to call to her to extract information. Check in was smooth though but the unit needed improvement. Cable not working, water heat...

The only good about this room is it's big and spacious. Staff and owner are not accommodating and very unfriendly. The owner doesn't respond if not too late. I booked 8 people but only got 6 towels and 5 blankets. There's available comforter inside the cabinet but they stink, smelled sweat and dust. There were also nothing to use like soap, shampoo like most rented apa...

It is my second time to stay at Knightsbridge Residences but the room I booked was from Agoda Homes and it was managed by a different company. I’m gonna say that location is great if you are looking for a 24-hour city life since it is near Century City Mall, supermarket, lots of restaurants/sports bar/red light district. But this time I’m not happy with the room itsel...

I need host to improve the following. 1) No bath towels provided during my stay, I hv to purchase from the Century City Mall. 2) Difficult to receive immediate response from the host when attention is needed. 3) The wifi is not working throughout the stay. No where to find help on this.

If u r looking for a chrome and glass 5 star accommodations this WILL NOT be the place for u... but if you are looking for a very quiet place on a quiet street which is only step away from one of the Philippines best mall, then this will be a good choice for you. The facility is older and the apartment could use a little attention, but all in all I found it to be a ver...

The place is perfect, near mall and night life in Makati. However, the previous client who booked the room cooked dried fish and once I checked in the smell is still there even when I open the balcony door and the exhaust it still smells til the next day. Rooms are ambience are great! Very clean and need. Room service is excellent. Location is in Makati, which is very central. However, breakfast at the hotel was not very good; I would not recommend the breakfast as it is a set menu and not a buffet.

we stayed there 2 nights and it was amazing. it was a weekend vacay with my family. the room is spacious, with cooking equipment and utensils, tv, refrigerator, and ACU. We had a hard time looking for the place as the name of the hotel is not posted in the print out when this was booked. Though the over all stay is satisfactory. Not much of new facilities that is why we heard that they are doing renovation in the next month. The pool is cute. You will think that it is a personal one.

Discovery Primea is now one of my favorite hotels in Makati. Exuding class and towering presence, this hotel is centrally located within Makati's central business district. I like their heated pool but they can improve their breakfast spread by offering buffet.

Check-in was a breeze, met in reception by client service staff and escorted to the apartment no waiting at elevator as there is a private elevator to the top floors where the apartment was located. Nice apartment clean and bright, great that all the things like iron were available without having to phone reception and wait. Internet was fast and stable. Kettle, micro...

Both of our 2 bookings (first was in February 2018, 2nd was March 2018) was a fail. Their cable and internet was not working which I think is disappointing if you want to savour your “staycation.” In our 2nd booking, they also told us that we have to transfer room after our first night because the room they gave us is not part of their properties and just let us use fo...

The price is reasonable. Location is good. John, the manager, was accomodating. The place is clean . One item that needs improvement are the beddings - blankets on the double decker bed were a bit itchy and the comforter on the double bed needs ironing (it looks like it has been used already though in fairness there was no smell) -mvo from the Philippines
