“Nice Sunsets”
Mixed feelings about this resort. Staff were friendly, pool looks nice, its great that it's right on a beach that is not crowded even in peak season over New Years. Food was not great and they do not have expresso coffee (don't order the pizza it's terrible). Which is a shame because the location of the restaurant on the beach front is exceptional. Restaurant staff are great. Location is about 450m walk before you start getting to the restaurant area which has bars, food, Thai massages and dive shops. House keeping was hit and miss. A few times I didn't get my complimentary waters and when I asked for clean wine glasses (because they were dirty with lip stains from previous guests), they simply run water over the glass in the bathroom sink and dried it with a hand towel. That totally grossed me out. My room itself was spacious with a great view of the garden, pool and ocean. Furnishing are old and outdated and light switches cannot be controlled while laying in bed. Shower head was not great. This place has a lot of potential to be great, but they need to update the shower heads, new paint and light fittings, improve the food quality in the restaurant, and make sure the room cleaners replace the glasses with clean glass wear and not hand wash under the sink with no detergent (yuck).
