Our stay at this resort was nothing short of wonderful. While it is about an hour’s drive from the main attractions of the island, the peaceful location made for a relaxing getaway. The real highlight of our stay was the incredible staff. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, especially when our 5-year-old son fell unwell. Their kindness and care were truly touching, even taking me to the local pharmacy at a moment’s notice—something I will always be grateful for. The resort itself was immaculate. The pool facilities were exactly as advertised—huge, spotlessly clean, and perfect for families, with a large shallow area for children. The food was fresh and delicious, and our room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with top-notch service and outstanding facilities, this resort is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!
Editing my review: This is a fair honest review as my experience with JM Casavilla. Firstly I booked my stay with them since Oct, 2 months before my stay in Dec and also promptly reserve early to support their year end dinner party. We were notified last minute (2 days before check in) as wanted to check the hotel transfer that the room that was book through Agoda was no longer available even when there is confirmation email from both agoda and the hotel itself. Their resolution was to give us a cheaper room, free transfer, credits refund which we could offset for meals and their year end party free or they could cancel and give us a full refund. Taking the first option was the only choice as last minute booking would definitely mean having to scramble looking for another place for accommodation but any difference they calculated would be at the price they sell to agoda and not what agoda sold to us. In all fairness what ever happen whether it was giving our room away, system overbook or mistake by the hotel we had to accept it. The room was definitely of a lower end and we could not see any sunrise but it was clean and lovely. The staff was very accommodating and apologetic. The hotel did honour all the conditions and delivered. I would say that location wise it’s quite far and isolated. The food was good and as much as I would have prefer the better rooms it was still a very enjoyable trip. I just hope that the management do better next time.

I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days, and I regret losing a day because of the night flight arrival, but I spent one day at the resort getting a spa treatment, swimming, and relaxing on a sunbed. Here are my impressions while staying here: 1. All the staff are friendly. They speak some English, and we have Papago, right? It all works out. 2. If you arrive on a night flight, make sure to request the pickup service in advance. You don’t need to pay like a taxi fare; a small tip is sufficient. 3. Since it's a night flight, it seems like they want to provide dinner, but you’ll get a call in the pickup car. The driver will show you the menu and ask what you want to eat (you pay for it later at checkout); if you’re not hungry, you don’t have to eat, just order juice! 4. You’ll get a welcome drink like lemonade; it's delicious (it's available at the breakfast buffet). 5. The room is clean and spacious. I was a bit sensitive about cleanliness since I was alone, but it was great that it was clean. 6. Bring a shower filter and portable disinfectant spray. It seems almost essential for Koreans when traveling! When I brought my shower filter, it didn’t get that dark! 7. Breakfast is simpler than expected. Don’t think of a diverse buffet. They can make pho if you ask, but I recommend the omurice instead. 8. There are no banh mi sandwiches. ㅜ 9. The number of Koreans and Chinese tourists is quite low. I only saw two Korean families. There might be more, but that was the case according to my schedule. 10. The pool has a tiered depth, and the deepest part is about 160cm or more. I’m not 160cm tall, haha, so please use the life jackets or floats provided. 11. There's a restaurant (buffet) next to the pool, and there are towels available in a secure box. You can swim in the pool and get a towel from there if you need one. 12. Lunch is not included. It’s not a buffet; you choose from a menu. I didn’t eat dinner, so I don’t know about that. 13. From the resort to the city (around King Kong Mart), expect around 300,000 VND for the fare, roughly half of that. I recommend using Grab. 14. The view is amazing here; it’s truly great. So good!

A place that truly embodies a resort experience, with beautifully designed villas, all amenities, and greenery, featuring a large clean pool with a sea view that is pleasing to the eye. The staff is friendly and accommodating, especially the owner of JM Casavilla, who kindly bought a bottle for my little boy from 24 km away. During our 3 days and 2 nights here, everything was wonderful. You should stay in this separate, tranquil area next to the fishing village, which is very relaxing. “Incredible views”
The views here are incredible. I could hear the waves from my room & it is very peaceful. The staff is great & truly made the stay memorable. I enjoyed laughing & dancing with Hao, who was kind enough to take my photos so I could capture the beauty of the area amidst my own. I also enjoyed frequent smiles from Ngọc. I also had round-trip airport shuttle. The downfall of the hotel was the bed. It was hard like a rock. Spoke to the front desk & was informed all their beds were like this, no resolutions offered. I booked for 7 days & intended to cancel after the first due to the bed, but since there were 4 fluffy pillows, I slept on them to make myself comfortable instead. The hot water only works for 3min before becoming lukewarm. You have to turn it off for 5-7min before it becomes hot for another 3min, which is not enjoyable. Instead, I'd use the tub, adding hot water from the tea kettle & waiting on the hot water from the faucet, taking an hour+ every night to fill the tub with hot water for a bath. There were many bugs in the room since the bathroom sliding door isn't sealed at the top & anytime housekeeping cleans, they leave the balcony doors open, allowing an influx of mosquitos in. I got bit inside more than I did outside. My booking included late checkout but after asking for 2pm checkout, I was told they were fully booked. I went online & found rooms still available for my date of checkout, checking up until the day I checked out. I asked what would be the latest time I could checkout, & the owner claimed they needed the room at 12pm, although check-in isn't until 2 pm, & housekeeping cleans the room in 10min. They didn't offer a 1-130pm checkout, alotting enough time to turnover the room before 2pm, or even another room that was not booked, so I could be comfortable & relax in AC. Instead, they said I'd have to checkout at 12pm & could use the pool until I left, which wasn't appealing since I wouldn't be able to comfortably shower & would have to travel with a wet swimsuit. The owner mentioned they have a shower in the lobby but that sounded even more unappealing, since the lobby is open-air, & there were no doors for the shower entrance. My booking also included 15% off of food & beverage but when I asked for it at checkout, they initially claimed dinner was a service and didn't count towards the discount. I was puzzled as to what did count then, insisting that dinner is indeed food/beverage. Afterwards, they discounted the meals. All in all, the kitchen staff and views are great but I wouldn't rebook.
