"A colleague (who had previously spent several years living in Manila) asked where we were going to spend our Christmas to New Year break. I replied that we were traveling to the Philippines, with the first day in Manila and we were staying 2 nights at the Bayleaf in Intramuros. My colleague responded that I would likely be dissapointed with the Manila portion of our trip and that "there are no good hotels in Intramuros"... he recommended I stay somewhere else like Makati. I am very glad that I ignored his counsel. While the Intramuros may not be as developed as some city historical centers it certainly fulfilled our expectations of getting the true sense of a city's past and regarding our accommodations, my colleague could not have been more wrong! I would not say the Bayleaf is glamorous or extravagently luxurious, but it is absolutely a fine hotel - we had 2 rooms that were more than adequate in every respect (well, maybe internet could have been better)... space, TV, comfort, amenities, all were there - maybe not the fanciest or plushest, but everything you need, kept in good order and clean. This is matched with staff service that is simply second to none - both in professionalism and friendliness. The breakfast buffet supplied with every room may not be lavish, but the quality and selection is great - both local and western fare fresh and well prepared. Lastly, the Bayleaf is well worth the visit just to dine or spend some time on their roof top restaurant / lounge; coupled with a phenominal view, superb service and great food you just have to experience it if you are in the Intramuros."

"I booked White Knight Hotel in Intramuros last March 19, 2018 for the wedding preparations of my client's wedding since im an event coordinator. I had a lot of request prior to the booking like the same floor requirements, good view from window and accessible in location. I highly commend Gemma the front liner who really patiently assist me from the time that I inquired personally up until the day that we arrived at the hotel. Thank you Gemma for making sure that our transactions and flow of check in is smooth and relaxing. Over all the hotel is good and affordable! "
