Hotel is really clean, room we got was spacious and really nice, one thing about the room I did not enjoy was the TV was mounted not centre to bed so when watching my youtube before sleep my neck hurt twisting it to TV but aside from that its a great location with many useful things just outside the hotel like seven eleven, gym, laundry room and few delicious restaurants. Its not too far off the centre so had couple walks there and was really worth it as there are some amazing traditional temples along the way. Recommend for anyone traveling and wanting something of value for not an extreme price.

“We enjoyed the stay so much!”
Location is very strategic, walking distance around 8-10min to Feng Jia Night Market. There's 7-11 & also other eateries too just across the street. The room itself is spacious and clean. Love how the toilet & shower rooms are in separate space. The kids love the tatami floor so much. We also enjoyed a lot of family quality times during supper time. Yes! You heard it right! They do provide supper throughout your stay. They serve local Taiwanese food like Braised Pork Rice and Oden. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave. Will definitely comeback to stay whenever we visit Taichung again in the future 🥰

“A Pleasant Retreat at In Joy Hotel”

“Exceptional”
We stayed at In Joy hotel from 10/29/23 to 11/2/23 while we were visiting Tiachung Taiwan. The hotel is a bit far from the Taichung train station (taxi ride is about $300NT) but it is very close to one of the largest and most popular night markets. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. There are some public transportation available but it is not as easy to navigate since we can't download the bus app. The hotel is about 5-6 month old, and the facility is very new. The room is a bit small but adequate for two people. The daily breakfast is really good, and the chef makes efforts to cook new items daily so if you stay more than one night, you would not be eating the same food every single day. In addition, the hotel also offers night snack, the choices are limited but if you are hungry after 9:00pm, then it is a great option if you don't feel like going out. One morning after breakfast, I fell on the floor because one of the staff mopped the floor with wet mop and the floor was very wet and slippery. As I fell down, one of the staff told me the floor was wet, but it was too late. There was no orange cone or anything to indicate the floor was very wet, and I fell on my butt, which hurt quite a bit at the time. The staff was very attentive and apologetic, and brought me a chair to sit on since I was too weak to walk at the time. I called the front desk to complain after my husband helped me to get back to our room. My point about the complain is that the staff should not have cleaned the floor with a wet mop while many guests were eating breakfast and should have expected guests coming and going. The hotel is relatively new so they don't have all the safety trainings in place. However, I did get a visit from the Vice General Manager (Todd Huang) around 6:00pm that night. He came to check on me to see if I was doing ok, and if I needed any help. I greatly appreciate the gesture, and we ended up chatting with Mr. Huang for over an hour. The next morning whi

“Great location n worth the value”
Very good location, about a 7-minute walk to the night market, which is very convenient. The room was spacious and clean, making the stay comfortable. The hotel offers many free facilities for guests to use, which is a big plus. They also provide supper, and the breakfast was fine and sufficient. Overall, a pleasant stay and good value for money.
