“Great Staff & Location, extremely small beds and facilities”
Stayed 10 days as a couple. Location right next to the North Point MTR entrance with a ton of eateries, and an upscale mall with a cinema opposite. Reception and Cleaning Staff were extremely friendly and attentive to all requests. The issue we had was twofold: The ‘single’ beds in the twin room were the smallest I’ve seen in any hotel to date, with a width of about 50cm/20”. The ‘doubles’ are essentially the same as two of these ’singles’ side by side, amounting to what might be deemed to a standard single in most other hotels I’ve been in. In reality, the ‘singles’ might only be appropriate for two smaller sized children, not adults, and the ‘double’ for a single adult. Sadly, neither my partner nor I were able to get even one night of adequate sleep on the ‘single’ beds. The other issue was with the size of the shower in the 2 x singles room. This was essentially a triangular corner of about 4 ft by 2 ft. The shower curtain would keep latching onto you during showering and it was frustrating having to peel it off repeatedly. Not using the curtain would result in the bathroom/toilet floor getting completely wet. I should note that the bathroom I’d seen in the ‘double’ room was quite a bit larger, so should not have this issue. Bottom line: would only recommend for a single traveler in the ‘Double’ room. If you must stay here, have a room each, but that will effectively double your expenses. Note: Regarding sizing issues as mentioned, I’m about 165cm/5ft 5in, 64kg/141lbs, slim asian build.
