Hotels near Kowloon MTR Station

It is an old hotel. The upkeep is good, except the mattress which is old and dropping down already. It’s a very convenient location. It is close to Tsim Sha Tsui East MTR Station, which is connected to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station. However, because of the road outside the hotel is circuitous and like a roundabout surrounded by many buildings, there are always traffic jams. There are a lot of cars dropping off people, so the drivers are always honking which can be heard in the rooms.

Butterfly on Prat was amazing. It was easy to get to, close to a lot of stores, restaurants, and places to see, and the staff was superb - friendly and efficient! We were a family of 5 (with 3 adult children), and the 2 rooms we got was kinda small for the us kids. Too bad all the twin bed rooms were fully booked, that would've been better. But that one little discomfort aside, we had a nice stay here. The internet connection was free and fast! I could not have asked for a better option. They also provide free printing services, for those of you who need your boarding passes printed after an online check-in for your flight. How to get there (the fastest way): - Take the Airport Express, and get down at Kowloon Station. - Take the free Airport Shuttle, and get down at Park Hotel (2nd stop). Butterfly on Prat will be on Prat Ave., just a block away and a short walk from Park Hotel. How to get back to the airport the fastest way: - Go back to the bus stop in front of Park Hotel on Cameron Rd., and wait for the Airport Shuttle bus - Get off at Kowloon Station - Take the Airport Express back to the airport Places to see around Butterfly on Prat: - Wah Kee Snacks (corner of Prat Ave. and Hart Ave.): delicious street food! Try the lobster & chicken balls with curry sauce. - 7 Eleven and Circle K are near - Hanjyuku Kobo (Cameron Rd. near Tsim Sha Tsui MTR B2 exit): BEST. CHEESE TARTS. EVER. - Cotton On/Typo, Nike, Lush stores on Granville Rd Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station is of walking distance from Butterfly, and you get to see different stores too on the way. From there, lots of places are accessible by train. This is our first time went to Hong Kong and of course we are looking at a minimum budget. Hehe. So, after 1 - 2 months searching, comparing and study the hotel price range, we decided to choose Best Western Grand Hotel because of value for money (as we stay 5 days in HK), location and the tall building itself. With the golden blinking, awesome. The hotel location also ok; walking distance from MTR Station Jordan. Everyday we walked to MTR station and it seems like a morning exercise to us. Hehe good for health. Overall, i like this hotel and sure will recommend to our family members and friends.

My mother and I visited HK for a week and stayed at this excellent hotel. The room was lovely and clean with a stunning view of Victoria Harbour and the Cafe East restaurant was lovely too, even though it is expensive! But the most positive aspect of our stay was the outstanding reception staff. They helped up with numerous things from translations to directions, to changing money and helping us with taxis. They were beautifully turned out and extremely friendly and helpful. One man in particular stood out for us and his name was Daniel. He assisted us with our plans to visit the Sai Wan Military Cemetery and also helped my Mum when she was worried about me as I had been gone for longer than she anticipated. He was calm and reassuring and very patient. We couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough to be honest. The only downside was that it was quite far from the nearest useful MTR station - Tsim Sha Tsui. But it is still within walking distance, so not really a problem. Although it is nothing to do with the hotel, I would like to comment on the HK taxis. We found them to be extremely bad. On two occasions we were ordered to get out of the taxi in the middle of nowhere and not at our destination. It was very distressing on both occasions. Taxis are also often not prepared to cross the harbour over to Central or back to Kowloon, and if they are, they charge you for it (about HK$70). They don't speak any English and are often surly and rude. Our stay in HK was amazing on the whole, but was really tainted by our experience of the taxis.

We were a family of 3 when we went to HK. Me, my husband, and our 4 year old son. The location of this hotel was perfect specially for someone who has a young child in tow. Just beside the hotel is where ToysRUs is. Then surrounding the hotel is the shopping area for me! Walking distance to Tsim Tsai Tsui MTR station. Walking distance to restaurants. Walking distance to Avenue of Stars. I have been recommending this hotel to friends who ask me where should you stay in the City if you have kids. We were also delighted to find out that there was a shuttle bus beside the hotel that brought us to the MTR station directly to the airport. That saved us heaps amount of money for the taxi fare! Just downstairs there was Cafe de Coral. The cheapest dining area we found that serves great food! Over all, this hotel is really a great deal.

the hotel's location is a huge plus, being near two mtr stations and also the kowloon mtr which takes you straight to the airport while also allowing you to check-in your baggage at the mtr station itself. plenty of shopping, food and entertainment outlets to keep you busy throughout the day and night. the hotel though, still manages to maintain its peace and serenity by being located right behind a park. a pretty good option for travelers who want some peace after a hectic day. service is also good in the hotel. the cleaners were very friendly and even talked to us. service was very prompt - we had some problems with the safe deposit and within 5 minutes help arrived. concierge service is also good, managed to deposit our baggages there on the last day while we went out shopping and got them back in good shape. there is also a shuttle service between the hotel and the airport, very useful in my opinion. you pay abit more compared to the mtr, but in return it's a more comfortable ride. recommended if you have a little more hkd to spare. for those without the luxury, the mtr is still an excellent choice. the direct train from kowloon mtr station to the airport takes only about 30 minutes and is equipped with seats for all passengers. quick, affordable, quiet, comfortable. overall, splendid hotel for anyone looking for a mid-class hotel in an accessible location. thumbs up!

It is located in the vicinity of TST on Kowloon side. If you are into shopping and on a gastronomic trip, it is a good location. When you step off its doors, you can find all the world's brands just a few steps away. It is walking distance to the Kowloon Park MTR Station and one/two stations away from Central/Admiralty areas which is the CBD. The hotel is actually a bit pricey for my standard but i always end up staying there. Hotel is clean, Staff is friendly. I feel secure there. Convenient for me to get there from the airport through the airport express and basically accessible to Hongkong side.

I think the hotel was barely 6 months old when we stayed, so its still got its "shine". The decor was quirky and outstanding, and it looked like someone's luxurious home, rather than a hotel. Although the hotel is situated a teeny bit out of the way of the usual touristy spots in the Kowloon side of HK, my friend and I, being repeat visitors to HK, did not find this much of a problem as we did not plan to head to those spots anyway. Most days we simply caught a cab for a short hop to the MTR stations at Tsim Sha Tsui or Kowloon, and continued our journey via subway. The harbour view rooms have a truly great view of HK island and skyline, but you need to be on the higher floors for that. The club floor rooms also have free use of the in-room mini-bar, and its replenished every day. The hotel has a shuttle service to some popular spots (e.g. Harbour City), and the MTR also has some kind of free shuttle to Kowloon MTR station.

Loved staying in this hotel. Friendly staff, great rooms and fantastic location. Could check in very early and really enjoyed the room. Very spacious (not the usual Hong Kong sardine can). Everything was new and clean. All amenities you could hope for (including iron, ironing board, laundry service). Bed was comfortable with pillow choice. Fast, free WiFi and flatscreen TV (no BBC though :( ). The breakfast is great as well. Lots of choice from local cuisine to international selection. The hotel has a good gym on the 10th floor (nice views) and an outdoor swimming pool on the 9th floor. Location is great just a short walk from TST MTR station (to other parts of Kowloon and Hong Kong Island). The hotel is attached to a mall with several restaurant options. Would definitely come back here.

the hotel staff are friendly and helpful in assisting us with the room (and beds), and thereafter advice on the attractions availability given the unfortunate clash with typhoon warnings (strong winds and some rain) during our stay. there is free wi-fi in the lobby, but there are only two armchairs for hotel guests. there is no swimming pool in the hotel (unlike misconception thru googling for other people's review elsewhere). the complimentary buffet breakfast (international spread) with the hot deal (early booking) is great and the kids love it. the hotel's location is great for us because it is in a quiet area, and within walking proximity to an mtr station (east tsium sha tsui mtr station). throughout our stay, we didn't take any taxi (to avoid road traffic jam). only the airport express train and the mtr (and free airport express shuttle bus to kowloon mtr station on last day to take the airport express train; probably could have taken the shuttle bus to hotel on first day too). overall, it was a great stay.

Had quite a nice stay at Panorama. Stayed for 3 nights. Very conveniently located near a MTR station. But somehow, difficult to find it. Think not very well known to local people or maybe because it is new. Fantastic view from hotel room. Friendly staff and hotel tries to make you feel welcomed. But check-in and check-out services can be improved. I booked 2 rooms in a booking so I only had 1 printed booking voucher but staff insisted for 2 vouchers till they were convinced there was no way I could produce another copy. When checking out, staff also initially refused to cancel my credit card deposit immediately, telling me it will take quite long if I want to. Spent about half hour waiting for them to confirm and cancel my deposit. But staff remain polite throughout. Commendable! Overall, a very good and pleasant stay. Will go back again and hope service will improve then.

I liked its great location in Tsim Sha Tsui, near the MTR station and around many shops and eateries. The design was also quite nice, obviously appealing to the young/hip crowd with the industrial design. For the amount I paid as a solo traveller, I think it was quite good value-for-money. However, some issues which may make me think twice about staying there again, though they are not deal-breakers and I may still recommend the hotel. For one, the hotel is hard to find, despite the big banners dangling outside its building. It is located at The Hart building, but if you dont look up you wont know where the hotel is. Ground floor lobby doesnt say anything about the hotel either, and the lobby was under renovation too. I located the lobby next to a bar in the end, and the hotel lobby was at Level 10. The hotel itself has few facilities and the room was not big, so dont expect much. My biggest issue was that I did not manage to have very good sleep at night, as the thin walls were not soundproof-enough - I could hear my neighbours' TV and water pipes next door in the middle of the night. Also, this is the first time I stayed in a hotel that did not provide hand soap... I had to use the body soap, and the bottles they used to contain the soap, shampoo etc. were so hard to use because they were quite hard to squeeze. Unfortunate that for a hotel centred on design, some of these design elements were overlooked.

every time i visit hk i look to this "hotel" first because of it's great location and it's continual commitment to the community. it makes me feel good to be part of their mission. the staff are probably the best in the region. friendly with a sense of humor. the rooms are simple and clean. some rooms (tower b, i think) are a little dated but still good. taxi from kowloon mtr station is about hkd 50. if you can splurge to take on a suite facing the harbor, it's view alone worth everything.

The best feature of this hotel is its very good location. It is just a mere three minute walk to MTR stations and to Nathan Road. It is surrounded with very good restaurants which is open until the wee hours of the morning and shopping areas which also closes up until midnight. The area surrounding the hotel is very safe so that you could come and go alone by yourself even late at night. Granville street, which is one of the places to shop is just a few blocks away. The free shuttle bus to the airport express station is just one block away so it is very convenient for those travelling back to the airport. Another feature of the hotel is its cleanliness. Our room was fixed everyday. We were also provided with clean sheets and towels for our daily needs. The staff at the reception area were nice and friendly and could very well communicate. Overall, our stay was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back and stay again next time we visit Hongkong.

I had a wonderful and enchanting stay at the Langham Hong Kong. The five-star property is situated at the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, one of Hong Kong's main shopping districts. It is just right across the Harbour City with houses big brands like Chanel, Prada, Gucci and Louis Vuitton, and right beside Silvercord, which houses one of two H&Ms in HK, Longchamp and the famous Din Tai Fung Restaurant. On the Langham's lower floors is DFS Galleria, selling designer brands and cosmetics. And the list goes on. We had a convenient and amazing time from the minute we arrived in Hong Kong. We took the Airport Express from the airport going to the city center (we took the tourist card that sells for HKD300 inclusive of roundtrip airport express ride and 3 days of unlimited MTR and bus rides, and with a refundable HKD50 upon surrender of the card). From the Kowloon Station of Airport Express, there is a free shuttle bus that stops directly at the Langham. The lobby was busy at the time that we got there at around 10am and people were just starting checking out. Girl of the front desk offered her assistance and quickly checked our reservation. We were informed that the earliest room that could be given to us was at 1:30 (check-in time is usually at 2pm). And we were given an upgrade! So it was a pretty good start. She personally assisted us going to the concierge, where they took our suitcases. We had brunch in the meantime along with our first round of shopping made sure that our suitcases were brought directly to our room even before we got back. Check in was thus very convenient for us. And the room was just really amazing! The hotel made sure to pay attention to every detail. The fabric, the sheets, the furniture were all clean and of amazing quality. Complimentary bottled water, cookies and fruits were waiting for us as well. the iPod dock proved very handy, and the adapter was a brilliant idea - no need to ask for one...

The Kowloon Hotel is the best hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. Its location is most ideal for those who do a lot of traveling and shopping as it is near (right in front the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR). This is a four-star hotel with all the amenities - great value for money. Hotel rates are lower than most hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui area. While checked-in at the Kowloon Hotel, you can make the most out of your Airport Express Travel Pass (see tip below) since you have access to almost all MTR stations. Getting to Hong Kong Central station (Hong Kong's business district) and to different parts of China (Macau, Shenzhen, etc.) is also easy as the hotel is very near the Ferry Stations. I would definitely check in at The Kowloon Hotel when I come back to Hong Kong.

our stay at the hotel for the family for 3 nights were very satisfactory. the room though a bit small, is well decorated and everything you need is provided. the location of the hotel is fantastic and you can find shopping, restaurants very close-by. the tsz mtr is just five mins walk and from here you can connect to every part of hongkong! the airport shuttle bus will pick up travelers from the hotel to the kowloon mtr station foc where you can take the airport express to the airport. if you are on cx flight, you can even check in your luggage at the kowloon mtr station. very convenient. i will saty here again in future.

ramada kowloon hotel has a very good location. its near most shops and a walking distance to the mtr station that connects you all around the best hong kong spots like disneyland hk resort and ocean park. an airport express shuttle stop is nearby so you literally do not need to ride a bus or a taxi to go around hong kong. its so great and wonderful i want to stay at the same hotel again when i visit hong kong next year.

A great hotel! One of the best boutique hotels in the T.S.T. area. We spent our anniversary and the staff was very accommodating with our requests. The location is great! You will find yourself surrounded by exceptional restaurants such as Ichiran, Sushi one and with just a 20 minute walk you can find yourself dining at a Michelin Star dish restaurant called Tim Ho Wan in Olympic City. If you're too tired to venture out, The building where the hotel is located has two fantastic restaurants found at the lower floors. Shopping is not a problem seeing that T.S.T. is haven for great stores and boutiques. Check out Loading Store a streetwear boutique just a few blocks across from the hotel. For transport, the best way to get around from the hotel is by using the MTR. The closest station is about 6-7 minutes walk away. The nearest bus stop is also around 5 minutes walk away. The best way to get to the hotel is either via MTR, Bus, Taxi or Uber. I highly recommend this hotel for it's location, service and cleanliness and I would stay here again on my next trip. They accept late check-ins too. Side Note: The main lobby is on the 5th Floor (gave us quite the fright when we got there around 2am and nobody was at the entrance) All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at Granville. It's very new (2 months old) and the location was perfect. It had so much character with the decorations and artwork on the walls. HIGHLY recommended. Sincerely, Francis Lopez

Generally speaking, our stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The hotel was clean, in a great location, easy to get to (free transfer bus to and from Kowloon MTR station for the airport) and the staff were courteous and helpful. However, make sure you get a room away from the elevators as the whooshing noise they make is quite loud - it actually prevented my wife from sleeping until they moved us to another room much further away.

This was an awesome hotel for a very affordable price! Staff spoke perfect English. It was immaculately clean and comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful. Amazing shower with water pressure I have never felt anywhere else in the world. Hotel is located right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, right by the harbor. I felt safe roaming the area day and night. So much to do and see within a short walk. And there is a MTR station nearby so all of Hong Kong is easily accessible. To get to hotel from airport, simply use the Airport Express train from airport to Kowloon station, then take their Bus K4 to Empire Hotel Kowloon (stop 4). Hotel is then just up a little hill. Buy digital tickets for Airport Express Train on Klook App ahead of time and scan QR code on phone once leaving the train at Kowloon station, then catch free K4 bus from there. Could not be easier transportation! I highly recommend this hotel in Hong Kong!

Recently stayed at Soravit on Granville for 4 nights in June, and i must say I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there! The hotel is located on Granville road, accessible via a doorway , and then you have to use the lift to go up to check in at the 3rd floor. Easy to find , a short taxi ride from the kowloon station and within a 5minute walking distance to TST mtr station, which is practically right around the corner from the hotel! Rooms were great ..although leg room might be slightly limited but it works out fine. Located in the heart of Granville road with tons of eateries nearby accessible via a short walk or mtr ride. Granville road is also known for fashion outlets - so a great place to stay for ladies as there are lots of clothes boutiques around to go crazy in! You can easily use this hotel as a base for your stay in hongkong to explore both hk island and kowloon and other outlying islands as the location is very central.I would definitely stay here again! I stayed there for 3 nights on April 2015 with my wife and 2 young children. I was booking for a standard room, and the reception was surprised cause I didn't know that room size in Tsim Sha Tsui is quite small. She was very kind enough to gave us a free upgrade to a double bed room. We realized we were very very lucky when we enter the room. Getting to this Hotel was easy but no MTR officer knew this Hotel location. So don't bother to ask them. If you are traveling using MTR, stop at Tsim Sha Tsui station, find exit N There are exit N1 to N4 which goes up to Mody Road. For those who bring lots of lugagae/ big lugagge like us, I recommend use Exit N4 (go inside K11 Art Mall) take the elevator on the right side of the exit N4 go to Ground Floor to Mody Road. Cross the street, you can found Minden Avenue just one blok behind K11 Art Mall. Other recommended exit is N1 which is a bit further from exit N4, but this exit is Stairs Only. Cross the street on the traffic light to go one block behind K11 Art Mall. So Exit N1 is near to the other end of Minden Avenue. This Hotel is between 2 MTR station (East Tsim Sha Tsui and Tsim Sha Tsui Station) you can access both MTR station using the MTR tunnel. Room is nice but quite small, although a local friend of mine said its standard size for Tsim Sha Tsui Area, Very comfortable and clean room, bath room size is OK, and its shower only no bathtub. Breakfast was served on the fifth floor, standard breakfast, nothing fancy. Good enough to have a full stomach in the morning. Overall I would recommend this hotel, I believe this Hotel is worth the money.

It was great! The room was small but it was not crowded, suffocating or stuffy. The floor to ceiling windows really help create a roomy illusion. No space was wasted so every nook has a purpose. The room was clean, comfy, inviting - I almost don't want to go out. I just want to curl under the covers and sleep all day. The location was also amazing! Its conveniently near two MTR stations, a handful of malls, restos, Nathan Road, Avenue of the Stars, Kowloon Park, etc etc etc. You can ride the Airport Express from HKIA, get off at Kowloon Station and ride the K-3 Airport Express Shuttle that will take you to Holiday Inn Golden Mile which is right around the corner of this Hotel. Con: A bit of a wait for hot water and the room tends to get too cold. Since they have no carpet, its hard to walk barefoot around the room.
