Hotels near Cuneta Astrodome

We’re going to watch a play in Newport Theatre so we decided to book this hotel. Originally booked twin room, but later had a change of plans so we requested to have 1 big bed instead. Despite confirmation with Agoda Direct Message, the request was not noted when we checked-in. Since no queen room was available according to receptionist, they just merged the 2 single beds. Not that comfortable to sleep in. Room assigned to us was also very dark even with curtains open. The lighting of the room was not that good. Space-wise, it was just as expected, small room with twin beds with just enough space to walk on. Sound-proofing was also not that good. We could hear the baby crying outside, and conversations of those passing by. Basic necessities were provided. Hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast buffet was just okay, nothing exceptional. The dining area was small and it was crowded when we visited so there was queueing. Parking area was also very tricky. There’s no direct access to B3-B5 from lobby so from lobby, you had to tranfer elevator. Quite a hassle. Location was good though. Very near to Newport. Considering the price of other hotels in the area, this one’s quite cheap (~100USD per night) so I must say we get what we pay for. Recommended if you plan to spend most of the time outside and just have some place to sleep.

This hotel is endorsed by Manny Pacquiao, and supposedly he stays here when visiting this area on Roxas Blvd. I immediately got the royal treatment when stepping out of my taxi during rainy conditions. Hotel staff came running at me to cover me with an umbrella since there was no canopy from the street to the entrance. Hotel is attached to a casino and overall reminds me of one of those grand Las Vegas strip hotels. Marble, chrome, chic furniture, and extra professional staff to make you feel like royalty. They'll go out of their way to get you anything. They pay careful attention to customer service. The room was very spacious even with a King sized bed. The room came with a pretty large sized balcony expanding the useable space even more. The bed was really comfortable with top of the line beddings and pillows. You will want to sleep in this bed beyond your anticipated wake up time. The free wifi was good but not top speed. The breakfast buffet was excellent, complete with made to order pancake and omelet stations. Upon checking out they noticed my flight was later in the day and encouraged me to do a late check out at 2:00pm at no extra charge. With all the aforementioned top customer service, they include free Mall of Asia shuttles to and from the hotel in 2 hour increments throughout the day. Overall, best deal since I paid 3-4 star prices for what seemed like a 5 star experience.

Stayed at this hotel with my wife and daughter to celebrate her birthday weekend. The Heritage Hotel has always had that classic, go-to hotel reputation in our heads as it is one of the older and reputable hotels in the Manila area. The rooms were definitely comfortable and spacious, and the overall cleanliness of the bathroom, as well as the rest of the hotel, was very good. The pool was very enjoyable and it was huge! Perfect for families - kids who want to play in the kiddie pool, and adults who would like to tan or have a leisurely swim. The buffet breakfast were the only meals we had in the hotel but they were quite satisfying and had a lot of choice - BUT the only sad thing was the choices ran out easily and were not refilled (or took a long time to be refilled), even if we ate almost an hour before breakfast ended. The BEST AND WORST thing about this hotel has to be the location. BEST because it was very near the Mall Of Asia, Roxas Blvd (which has so many features, parks, attractions, restos, bars, etc), as well as Makati (another central business and commercial district), BUT WORST because the immediate area of the hotel is quite shady, cramped, and congested. PLUS it was hard to find safe, nearby stores, and/or groceries to get supplies from. But overall, we were VERY HAPPY WITH OUR STAY AND WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK if we needed an affordable and semi-luxurious city vacation.

My wife and I first stayed in the Atrium hotel on my first trip to Manila in March 2010. From the outset, without knowing what to expect in the Philippines, I was blown away by the professionalism of the staff, the rates and size of the rooms at the hotel, and the local and taxi services offered. The staff are always willing to serve with a smile, and though I don't have the biggest budget so aren't the best tipper, they were always so appreciative. The room size is fantastic, and though somewhat outdated, for less than a night, it is amazing value. So close to the mall of Asia (though one night a taxi driver we got from the mall of asia(not hotel taxi!) took an hour to get back to the hotel, should only be 15 minutes!) and other attractions. Posh, snivvely people would probably not be impressed with the hotel, but for those of us who aren't looking for a 5 star hotel at a 2 star price, this place is perfect. Decent hot water (Could use a little more of it, but I like long showers ;) ), a bar fridge, and heaps of tv channels, with good airconditioning, and pretty good city scape views. A little bt noisy at night, but it's still easy to sleep, and the restaraunt isn't the greatest, but certainly delicious food and good portions. All in all, I'd honestly give them at least 4.5 stars out of 5.

I chose the hotel for its convenience and price (I have stayed at the neighboring Marriott Hotel a few times), but since I was staying longer this time and not really concerned about the amenities of a Five-Star accommodation, I was quick to book the Remington - and found it to be a very good hotel (my room was better than a 3-star rating, the lobby is great with a very good coffee bar, parking is easy - except the hotel did not have room service, a business center, gym nor a pool). It is conveniently located by the airport, with easy access to other parts of Metro Manila (because of its proximity to highways - I was amazed how quickly I got around). The Megaworld Casino next door with its accompanying restaurants and high-end shopping is a great plus.

Hotel is new yes, but the staff is highly professional, warm, and very accommodating - just what is expected from Filipino professionals in the hospitality industry. Best points: + Last-minute deals: Surprising 70% discount when we booked on Christmas day via Agoda + Gave us 2 extra tickets at Resorts World’s Lumina Snow World. We’re only supposed to get 2 tickets, but the front desk manager gave us 3.. then when I asked for some more, he happily gave us his own ticket!! Hehehe! Each ticket costs P1,000 so this is a sweet deal! + Gave us P400/head discount for the buffet breakfast. Original price: P900/head. + Free shuttle service to and from Newport Mall. + Allowed for late check out for free, no conditions needed!!! Just call the client services desk in the morning. + Clean, modern rooms. Very peaceful. I had a good night’s sleep despite our room facing the busy NAIA skyway. + Food and bar inside the room are priced reasonably.

We never expected to be this affordable and accommodating hotel for a very cheap price. The ambiance is relaxing and comfortable. When you arrive at the hotel, they will give you a refreshing FREE drink while transacting for your room. That's how gallant they are! Staff are very respectful, accommodating and exceeds 5 star hotel quality for their initiative and flexibility to help. They will help you every step of your way to your room. The food was delicious and affordable. This is something you can be proud for the value of money. They serve breakfast buffet for a very affordable price with almost all breakfast meals you want for unlimited supply. You can eat the dining area or bring it on your room or bring it near the pool area if you want to eat and swim again. That's great option! Room is versatile and also a value for money. Aircon is OK, mini chiller for your drinks, and complete hotel toiletries. I still have many words of how great this hotel but character is limited. :)

You Can't Go Wrong with Ķabayan Hotel. Fir if You Select the Correct Booking; You Can Have Included Inn the Price; Breakfast and also Miles for Your Airlines to Earn Free Flights when Traveling or an Upgrade. If this isn't for You and You just Want to have the very Lowest Price for either a Shared Room or a Cube type space. You Can't Beat the Price or Location. The Staff Does the Best and if You choose to leave your Luggage; they Only Charge You by the Weight. So You Can Keep it at the Kabayan Hotel as Long as You Wish and it's Safe. They also have Airport Shuttle for a Fee if Needed; that they'll even take You tongue Bus Station that Goes to Another City; if at all possible.

I read so many terrific reviews of The Henry that my wife and I just had to give it a try on the second half of our Manila stay. I can only say that the hotel and staff exceeded our expectations in every way possible! We arrived early for check in with our adult son, who was staying for just a few days. After a really impressive lunch and a tour of the grounds our rooms were ready. Our son’s room was a spacious ground floor room and ours was on the second floor in the back. Both rooms were beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and well-appointed with spa quality soaps, and towels! The queen size beds were comfortable. Since it was the second half of our time in Manila we were a bit more laid back and wanted a hotel with an ambiance to match our mood. This was the place! Sit at the outdoor tables and a waiter will ask if you want a meal or a marienda, or just a drink of water. No pressure, no rush, just good service. Stroll the lush grounds take a book and sit near the pool or under a shady tree. Or if you want some shopping, there are three galleries with amazing treasures and helpful staff. Looking for that last minute souvenir? Try Honest Henry, a self-service shop in the hotel – yes, pick your item and leave your money in the box! We purchased two wonder necklaces at very reasonable prices. There are two parts to the location, a plus and a minus. The plus is that if you time the traffic just right (Manila traffic is always the issue anywhere in the city) you are 15 minutes from the Mall of Asia, Seaside Blvd. and if you are feeling lucky there are mega casinos nearby! And best of all depending on the time of day you can get to Aquino Airport in half an hour. Those are the neighborhood plusses, but on the down side, the neighborhood is not especially conducive to strolling and exploring. It's comfortable and really clean. The staff was really friendly too. The only "con" we had was locating the hotel -- most taxi drivers we asked don't know where it is. We ended up walking our way throughout Cuneta avenue til we reached the hotel, which was at the end of the avenue. Not bad since we've adventurous spirits but it could also be risky, especially at night.

Me and my sister would always book in this hotel and we we're so happy that they opened a branch convenient to airport. The best thing on this hotel is the cleanliness of the hotel with a very accomodating staff..hopefully there will be a mall attached to it as most of there branches got malls on it...some entertainment room like billiards, bars or videoke with an affordable charges for all guest...

Our stay in Urban Travellers hotel was amazing because the place is nearby to establishments like for shopping,for eating and rides. You will have no problem in going to anywhere. The staffs are kind and helpful. The room is good. The only thing i dont like is the service when you borrow their utensils like plates and bowls because you will pay it for about 30pesos for 3pcs set. I paid 60 pesos because i borrowed twice. And when my husband asked for help to give hot water to my son's cup noodles was not good experienced. He needs to pay 20 pesos before they give hot water. I'm not including these to my reviews because i'm complaining but because i want others to be aware of. Lastly, i booked a service to bring us to the airport before we fly back home but the driver dropped us in a wrong Terminal airport. Instead of Terminal 2, he dropped us in Terminal 1 and we are almost late to our departure time. However, i will rate 5 star to the staffs and hotel place anyway in general terms.

it is a 5 star resort hotel so it's full of relaxing/zen/spa amenities. it's near everything, shopping, restaurants, movies, theater, casino (if you're into it),most of all to the business i needed done. everything within walking distance. even the church. i was able to accomplish what i needed done because of free internet and wifi access, an efficient business center at my disposal and accessibility to everything. it has great location, relaxing ambiance though security was tight. you have to pass through rigorous security check (dog sniffing, checking car/cab by security then pass through xray and bags/carry ons once again checked by security). food were tasty and abundant, lots of choices. service from the front desk to the guards to the food servers to housekeeping and all staff was second to none. i always book a stay here to experience this a1 service.

Nichols Airport Hotel is undergoing a big Restoration at this time. I have been staying at this hotel since May of 2013. I have never had a bad room but I have had rooms that were better than others. In all I have stayed here a total of 9 times with 2 or 3 times not thru Agoda but by making a reservation directly thru Nichols own website. By reserving a room thru Agoda you are going to save a great deal of money. Agodas website says you will save 20% by booking a room at Nichols thru Agoda. Personally I think you actually same more than that. Agodas website also rates the Nichols Airport Hotel as a 2 star hotel. I honestly believe this should be changed to a 3 star hotel. I would like to see Agoda investigate this further. I have stayed in MANY 3 and even 4 star hotels in the past that cost considerably more than Nichols and were not nearly as clean or nice as Nichols. The staff at Nichols has always been courteous and helpful and quite friendly. Another BIG BIG plus for me is the safe and secure Transportation Nichols provides for their guests. The vehicles are clean and well maintained and the Drivers are safe and very knowledgeable of the City and the cost is VERY reasonable for guests. Pick-up at the Airport is almost always on time depending on the traffic of course. All the Drivers I have had with Nichols Transportation have been very good. My personal favorite is Ramil who has been with the hotel for over 30 years. Are they perfect? No of course not. Their one weak spot is the coffee shop. The meals are pretty good but the selection is very limited and it is a bit on the expensive side. I do not even look for any other hotels now when I have business in the city I simply go to Agodas website and book a room at Nichols Airport Hotel. Yes they are an economy hotel and none of those expensive little bells and whistles other hotels have. But the cost is VERY reasonable they are very close to both the United States Veterans Affairs Outpatient clinic on Roxas B

This was our first time staying at Networld. We've typically stayed at Hotel Jen/Traders down the road. I chose it mainly for the location, which was great, and the cheaper price. The hotel picked us up from airport twice, and we took the shuttle to the airport twice. When there is no traffic, the journey doesn't take long in either direction. We had bad traffic one of the times from the airport, and it took five times as long. The hotel looks and feels a bit old and worn, but it was still comfortable and mostly well-kept. The rooms are large enough, and the bed in the deluxe room is massive. Shower and hot water were good. The staff are great. They were very accommodating when we wanted to change rooms and with other requests we had. There is free wi-fi in the room, and it worked pretty well. We set up and updated a new iPhone through the wi-fi, and it didn't take too long. I was pleasantly surprised. The food in the two restaurants was good and there were a variety of options. The breakfast buffet in the morning was sufficient. I was mostly Asian/Japanese fare, probably because of the large Japanese clientele the hotel gets. Room service was efficient, also. The spa and sauna are fantastic. It's a great add-on if you get the booking that includes the sauna. My only complaint is the road noise. This is the reason we changed rooms two times. Regardless of how high and far back in the hotel we moved, the road noise was still bad (loud motorbikes and sirens). It's mainly because there are single-pane windows installed. If they installed double-pane, soundproof windows, it would probably be ok. Even though all other aspects of our stay were very good, this noise issue could prevent us from staying again. If the hotel can replace the windows with soundproof windows, it would probably become our go-to Manila hotel.

I was quite pleasantly surprised by the friendly and helpful staff, convenience and high cleanliness of this very new family owned and run travelers five story, with balconies, hotel. It it is not a "Spa Hotel" where you pay for huge chandeliers and frequently dusty ballroom space. Meals are simple but well prepared and tasty. It is very convenient to the US Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic near the old Cuneta Dome. If that is your destination and personal mobility with direct access is an issue be sure to take a taxi cab instead of a Trici-cab as I did. Speaking again of helpfulness and cooperation of staff and management, I was able to exchange the free breakfast for a free dinner because I would have been unable to take it due to scheduling. The menu over-all, although simple, is delicious and satisfying and reasonably priced. Massage is professional and well done. Be sure to take your cell phone as the house phone is next to the elevator.

Located inside the Salem complex literally across from terminal 4, I find this hotel to be great option for a late night arrival or quick overnight. I travel to manila pretty frequently and found SGD to be the best of all the nearby hotel options. Keeping in mind it is a 1-star hotel, it's decent for what it is. The staff is pretty on top keeping the shower and the restrooms in decent order. And they're always more than willing to accommodate all of my requests. As far as food goes, there are a number of options within the complex. There are even a couple of bars for the night owls. Although they do have a few rooms that can accommodate families. I would say the place is geared more towards the solo budget traveler. Just try to not to compare it to a resort or 5 star hotel and SGD shouldn't disappoint. Safe travels!

Our stay was very short, we stay because we had a long lay over, but we were picked up by the hotel van and had a very nice, clean room. Nothing fancy, just basic stuff, but we had a cold A/C, cable TV, nice restrooms, and room internet, plus a free breakfast, they continued to offer free coffee from 6am to 9am, as a courtesy to guests. The breakfast is not a buffet, but you select what you like upon checking in. The upstairs rooms are the best, they are bigger, and have a huge bathroom. The best part we were able to go the Mall of Asia, which is only about a mile away. Kenny Rogers Roasted Chicken is only a block away. If in Manila again, I will stay there again. I was satisfied with the service, because our flight came in late, so the staff worked with me. In fact, my original regular room was booked upon arrival, but they upgraded me to a bigger room at no extra cost. Thumbs up!

Stayed here for 1 night just because we have a stop over in manila for 10hrs overnight. They provide a free shuttle service to and from the airport (removes the hassle of dealing with taxis). The hotel was only a few minutes to and from the airport which gives us more sleeping time. Hotel and room itself was clean and comfortable (not 5 star, but certainly better than what we paid for). We have stayed in transit hotels near the airport in manila before, this one so far is the best one for the value you get and comfortability. We will definately be using this hotel again should the need arises in Manila.

I am travelling through Philippines about 1 month already and here in "RedDoorz Hotel" it was my best stay for all this time. It is not a room, it is a spacious apartment where you have everything what you need: king size comfortable bed, full equipped kitchen with fridge and microwave oven (but no electric stove), bathroom with all toiletries and hot water, big TV set. Extremely clean. Reception desk is 24 hours. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice location: 10 min walk to subway station and 7-8 min to seven eleven supermarket. Grab taxi to airport is 140 PHP only. If I be in Manila one more time, will stay here again surely. Totally recommend!

The Hotel Sogo franchise is generally viewed to be motel-ish but it's actually a great place to stay when you're on a tight budget. The Pasay branch has higher rates compared to other branches like, say, Quezon Ave or Cubao but the place is extremely accessible to malls, restaurants and even the airport. In fact, right behind the hotel is a shuttle that can take you to NAIA terminal 3 and Resorts World Manila for only P20. This is usually the reason why I like to book with Hotel Sogo Pasay, because of its accessibility to the airport. The hotel is also just a few steps away from the MRT. Agoda voucher holders are also given priority so that even if there is a waiting line, you get to the top of the list. This comes fairly handy when checking in during the weekend!

The 1st and only 6-star hotel to date in the Philippines, so I decided to try it out. When I got there, I searched around for the check-in area/concierge with no luck, until a guard pointed me to a small table by the staircase where 3 people were standing. I asked them where the check-in area was--turns out, that was the concierge. I asked them if they got my reservation via Agoda, which they confirmed, then told me to check-in around 2pm. I had lunch and returned 2pm, only to find the check-in table empty. The guard told me to wait by the table. After awhile, several staff members seemed to have noticed me and another customer who was waiting to check in, and you could see them moving around frantically and talking in their cellphones and radios. Despite paying a lot of money, I let slip the "invisible" check-in table, even the waiting time of 20 minutes because there was nobody in the concierge. What turned me off was the fact that other personnel noticed us waiting and did not entertain us. They looked disorganized. No seats were around so I was standing up the whole time, looking lost and stupid as I watched the staff panic around me. The other customer who was also waiting got tired and sat at the cafe nearby, and I was tempted to do the same even though the tables had signs that said "for the cafe customers only". The staff could have simply approached me and made sure I was comfortable while they sort things out. If they didn't have a comfortable waiting area, they could have seated me in the cafe and maybe even offered me a drink while I wait. A simple gesture such as this could've "controlled" the situation. If this was a 3-star hotel, I wouldn't mind, but this was a 6-star, I expected only the best. After all, it is the service that sets apart 5-star hotels, and I had never experienced this in 5-star hotels. Despite the lousy start, once I was in, everything was perfect--best service(excluding check in), design, and features I have seen so far.

i have made a booking on this hotel for one night before i went back to malaysia on the next day. i found that this hotel is located at a good location. it's near to sm asia mall which i could take a bus to asia mall instead of taxi. it's also near to a morning market located near taft avenue, which can be accessed by walking. the things are cheap there. for ladies who love shopping in manila, granprix hotel is the best choice!

It's located extremely close to NAIA. Miss Ressel and Miss She were extremely pleasant when they checked me in and out. The apartment was very clean and provided the great amenities and essential toiletries. Really cold air-con and the bed provided a great night sleep. Only caveat I had was that the building did not have record of my reservation and I spent time contacting Agoda to verify. I ended up eating lunch at near by resorts world and when I returned Ressel was there to check me in. I would definitely return!

We stayed there as it is very close to the airport and we were leaving early in the morning, the staff were friendly and accommodating, they gave us a free shuttle ride to Terminal 3, free breakfast at 2am, and if you book with Agoda the room was P400 cheaper than booking on Rogers website or walking in and booking there. There are lots of food choices, Jollibee next door, shakeys (24hr), next door to that plus many, many more different places, including bars, the area has at least 4-5 security guards around all the time so very safe. Rogers place also has a money exchange inside, and a restaurant next door which is good and they are the ones that provide the free breakfast., our room was small but clean, but in fairness we booked economy as we were only there 8 hours... Will stay there again on our return to Manila :)
