'if you do build a great experience, customers tell each other about that. word of mouth is very powerful.' i have reserved 2 standard rooms & 1 suite room for our 4d/3n stay. for most travelers, convenience is a main concern. add up to that, we always expect at least a good if not great customer service that will make us feel we get our money's worth. kimberley hotel has proven that i need not have to be billed with a sky-high rate to get a 5-star customer service. me and my family are very much impressed with the kind of service this hotel has graced us. hassle-free from check-in to check-out. we were welcomed by the concierge manager personally, as he was there at the concierge during our check-in. he and his assistant even accompanied us to our room after check-in. i also met their front office manager, who happens to be very pleasing. i have made some special requests, which i understood all were subject to availability, but he was very cordial & polite and he made sure our requests were all taken-cared of to make our stay more convenient for us. also, we accidentally left my mom's luggage at the airport, and they were the ones who called the airline company to check on it. i requested if they can allow a later time for check-out since our flight back to mnl was mon at 10pm, and they gladly approved 7pm check-out for the suite room without extra charge. we requested for extra pillows & comforters with ease and surprisingly with no extra charge, as for most hotels, they do charge certain fees for it. our rooms were serviced daily, and their staff are all courteous & nice. the hotel's location is perfect & very convenient, as it is near to everything. 7-11 & wellcome supermarket just across the street, restaurants all around the hotel open till late night, just a 2-3mins walk to nathan road. for nightlife, just across the street is a stretch of posh restaurants, clubs/bars for wine & dine. if you're taking the airport shuttle, the k4 bus is just

The Royal Garden Hotel is a very well positioned and stylish property, backed up by impeccable service, staff and cleanliness. The Hotels outstanding Pool and spa facilities are located on the roof, the pool is large with outstanding harbour views. Breakfast is equal to the best we have ever had with a vast selection of food that is fresh and well prespared and presented. We chose the Club benefits and were very please with the services offered and access to the very stylish Club Lounge. Overall, this is an outstanding Hotel and worthy of 5 Star Rating every day of the week.

Most of the time I have come to Hong Kong, I have stayed at Chungking Mansions. This trip was with a friend and we decide to spend a little bit more for a better experience. The Best Western was the next cheapest hotel. Much better quality (obviously) but the size was still a bit small, though I guess for Hong Kong if you want a real hotel room you will be spending a real price. I will definitely stay again.

We lived in Hong Kong in 1977, TST East didn't exist then. So when we decided to visit again to reminisce our past it was the perfect choice for us and the New World Millennium Hotel is exactly where we wanted to stay. We booked the Deluxe Harbour View and it was fabulous, we arrived about 8pm and walking into the room just blew me away Hong Kong island all lit up & was everything I had expected, and in the morning watching the Harbour come to life was just as amazing. The walk from the Hotel to Star Ferry was a treat along the Harbour front was only 10/15min walk. But best of all was Billy Chan Chief Concierge it was like having our own personal trip planner. Hong Kong has changed so much since 1977, Billy would map us the easiest & fastest route to go where we wanted to go, giving us all the bus numbers to get us there as well. And the night we wanted to go to the Ozone Sky Pub & Restaurant he suggested we take the free bus there & back and to go early to get the best daytime & sunset views that was the Highlight of our holiday thank you so much Billy for all your help & information. All the staff were as you would expect from a hotel of this calibre. There was some renovations going on the hotel and when we booked with Agoda it did explain this but to be honest we went on holiday and were out exploring HK from 9.30am till 4pm so the noise we experienced was hardly any at all, I did read some of the reviews people have posted about the noise but really there's thousands of hotels to choose from in HK, and if you knew there was going to be some noise going on why stay there & complain later???? This hotel, staff, & holiday are now in my top 10 Holidays ever Dawn & Michael Thomas from United Kingdom

Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel couldn’t run the service because of broken down electricity. Then they transferred me to Prince Hotel. I also like the room becuase Prince offerer me the suite. The problem was I had booked for the harbour view room type.. The Prince couldn’t find such the room for us. Marco Polo Hotel, had better to email or to call us for giving me the issue informations. I had no choice but to go to Prince. This is kind of unfair. The Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel is quite expensive than the rest of them, I had chosen to stay here for particular reason. However, I understand the circumstance and believed you had tried the best you can to manage the booking. So ever, next time, customer should know and make the decision.

I have been to hong kong for 8 times already and I always book at theMarco Polo Gateway hotel because (1) it is near all the shops I want to go like twist, h&m, zara, etc. (2) It is quite near the tsim sha tsui mtr station (3) the facilities are clean (4) they provide free water everyday (they also provide a kettle for hot water for those cold days or a cup of tea in the morning) (5) the beds are just right in terms of the cleanliness, firm pillows, warm comforter and extra pillows I hiave never regretted any of my stays in this hotel so if your looking for a hotel where you can shop and just drop your great buys at the hotel and shop again then this may be your best bet! There is also a near by Din Tai Fung Restaurant you must try! Have fun in hong kong!

My 2nd time staying here. 7mins walk to MTR, everywhere is shops around the hotel, easy walk to mosque, walk to Chungking mansion to eat halal food, near big mall isquare, convenience to take mtr to other stations to mongkok etc. Request for iron & iron board, toilet paper to the room very fast service to my room. Concierge and every staff can speak well english. Keep it up Park hotel!

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. But I will choose to stay in this hotel again because of its location. It was just a few meters away from the Austin MTR station and the luxury shops of Harbour City Mall. The hotel was also located right above the ferry station for our journey to Macau. I also enjoyed the walkway towards Kowloon Park which was a convenient and scenic route to Nathan Road, Hongkong Heritage Museum and Chungking Mansions. On our last day, we enjoyed the sunset ovelooking the rest of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon on the park behind the hotel.

We stayed for 6 nights during the soft launch, where paying for 2 nights gets you a third one free. We therefore paid the rates for 4 nights and got 2 nights free. Located at one end of the stretch of hotels that border Victoria Harbour on Kowloon side, the location of Hotel ICON might be off-putting for those who like to be at the heart of all the action. However, for those who, like myself, enjoy exploring cities on foot, Hotel ICON is a reasonable walk away from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR (via Mody Road) and the entire walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes or show at a moderate pace. Across the hotel are quite a number of food options as well, for those who tend to get hungry randomly throughout the day. There were times that the distance from the city centre was daunting but by and large, since taxis are relatively cheap as well, this was usually not an issue. The hotel itself was lovely. The best part for me was not the view, which was that overlooking the harbour, but was the rain shower. The bathrooms are spacious, with a bathtub and rainshower. The mirrors in the bathroom are even specially outfitted such that they will not fog up even if you enjoy bathing in steaming temperatures. Another thoughtful feature of each room is the free minibar, containing a selection of soft drinks and two bottles of mineral water. As it was summer, the temperatures got pretty hot during my stay and the mineral water came in perfect sizes to bring along on daily adventures. And the best part of it all was that it was all free, and so we could help ourselves without worrying about having to replace whatever we took before checking out.

Extremely helpful staff. Allowed us to check in early. One bump in the road was the first room they gave us. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but upon entering the smell gave me a headache right away. Called the front desk and they sorted it out in 5 minutes, escorting us to a new room and they made sure that we were comfortable. The view was magnificent. I have to say, maybe even better than the view at the Hotel Panorama because you see a different view of the harbor. The view from the Hyatt is the skyline that you see in all the postcards, guidebooks, etc. Absolutely beautiful. I could stare out of that window for hours (and I did). Room was comfortable, bathroom was quite large for compared to the rest of the room. Breakfast buffet was probably the best I had during my business trip all around China. Literally across the street from the Metro exit. Airport shuttle (with fee) available. Staff is what I expected from a 5 star hotel. I have stayed at boutique hotels in the past, and my experience with the staff at the Hyatt makes me remember why these bigger 5 star chains are worth it. Everyone is impeccably trained, everyone knows their jobs, and everyone goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Price is reasonable too. Will return.

The industrial style of the room compensated for the small space. The standard double room can fit 2 but I do not recommend that you max it out since there will be no space for your big bags. If you decide to book it for 2, make sure your are non-couple travelers as the bathroom has transparent glass walls (no option to cover). The location (close to MTR exits, A21 bus stops along Mody/Chatham, restaurants, bars, street food, 711, Circle K), interior design, and the free android phone w/ 247 internet (to be returned during your last day) made it all worth it. I frequently used google maps of the free phone throughout my whole stay to get to the places I need to go to. You can opt to install wechat/viber/whatsapp but I opted not to due to privacy concerns (I'm a bit paranoid). Best to use it for google maps and internet browsing. Quick tip: Don't forget to bring power plug adapters as they have Type G plugs (3 heads). If you forget one like me, the small store that sells cellphone cases in front of the hotel entrance sells one for 20HKD per adapter. Also, the hotel is located in the building called The Hart. I got confused initially because I thought there was a whole building for the hotel. You'll find the hotel reception on the 10th floor of The Hart. The floors below it house busy restaurants. Will definitely book in the same hotel during my next trip to HK.

it was with some apprehension that i booked at the ymca salisbury hotel. i have been to hong kong many times before, but have always stayed at 4-star and 5-star properties. i had heard so many complimentary things from travelers about the ymca that i decided to book a stay there in early february. on arrival at the hotel driveway, there were no porters to assist with the luggage or usher us to the reception desk. notwithstanding, the reception staff was very courteous and efficient. though we had checked-in at noon, our room was immediately made available to us. we booked a twin room with a partial harbour view and the view of the victoria harbour and 1881 heritage was much appreciated. the room is of average size and the bathroom is smallish, but i had no great expectations when i arrived at this hotel. the beds were reasonably comfortable, wi-fi was free, and there's also a wide selection of cable channels available on the flat screen tv. add to this a free daily newspaper and daily breakfast (included with hotel package), and there is nothing much more to expect, considering the daily room rate charged. the breakfast room on the fourth floor affords a pleasant panoramic view of victoria harbour and the hotel's surroundings. service is prompt, courteous and efficient. if there is one thing the hotel can improve on, it's the variety of the breakfast buffet. the daily selection was the same during the five days that we dined. also, the addition of certain items like fruit jams, honey, lactose-free milk, and whole wheat bread would be most welcome. the ymca salisbury shares the same ideal location in tsim sha tsui (tst) as its highly-esteemed neighbor, the peninsula hotel. access to public transportation (mrt, star ferry) is very convenient. major shopping malls (harbour city, isquare mall, silvercord, art mall) and dining places are all an easy walking distance away. the ymca salisbury is my hands down choice for the best value-for-money hotel in hong

The Langham is a very classy hotel and truly a 5 star. The service is excellent (received a rose for being a return guest upon check-in) and we were very impressed with mineral water being delivered to our room compliments of the hotel within 5 mins of entering our room. We love the location as there are tons of restaurants nearby and a shopper's paradise a few steps away. The best part is you don't have to pay the rate of other 5 star hotels in the area, especially when you book through Agoda! We have made this our hotel of choice in HK!

The hotel is right smack in the middle of TST, right across is the Chungking Mansion for the best dollar exchange rate, an MTR access right outside the hotel, has an indoor link to a Mall, and just a couple of minutes walk to One Peking Place ( where you should try the Aqua Bar, and the HO TUng restaurant) and Harbour Centre ( for all the brand names you can think of), one last thing, you need to ask the hotel staff for your complementary water before they give it to you

The hotel caught my eyes based on "5 star" reviews posted in Agoda. Without reliasing that this is actually not a 5 star hotel, I made presumption that the room should be spacious enough for my family (young couple with a kid). As I didn't check the room information diligently, I booked a superior room which was only 26m2 and I wasn't allowed to cancelled the room in line with Agoda policies. Upon arrival, I was delighted to be upgraded to a studio room as I needed more space for a comfortable rest at night. Location is good, near TST MTR. Decor at hotel is nice and good to touch. Breakfast served at FINDS is decent, fresh and with good variety. FINDS was awarded one of the Hong Kong & Macau 2012 Best Restaurant. Staff are pleasant, polite and attentive. Service is prompt. I saw the bartender walked out from bar all the way just to get salt and pepper for a lady guest, putting them on her table. Although I could see that pepper and salt was only 2 feet away fr the lady when she asked. I would thought the bar tender could have just shown the lady guest where the pepper and salt were, instead walking all out fr the bar. I was given some greeting notes at night w some chocolate chips/cake. We were given a small birthday cake (with small present) on the night we were celebrating my birthday. The staff (from bellboy, waitress to managers level) are all well trained, always go extra miles to make it a pleasant stay. The GM of the hotel constantly speaking and coaching the staff. The hotel was last renovated in 2011, everything is well kept. I made a comment to the reception that the water from the showers didn't discharge, it was promptly rectified after my dinner. I had a chance to use the business center. Hotel may consider upgrading laggy machine on Win XP as Windows 8 was released recently A nice boutique hotel always with a personal "Touch". I would definitely recommend this hotel for leisure travelers. Go for studio room at minimum for family with kid.

Booked for a 4-day 3-night stay here in Best Western Hotel just 3 weeks ago. This is just a small hotel situated in the heart of TST so what I appreciate a lot with our stay in Best Western Hotel was it's very accessible to all our needs. From MTR, boat, and bus stations to malls and food stores. Souvenir shops can be found nearby so there was no need for us to go to Mong Kok to buy souvenirs for our families and friends. Staff is very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Rooms are being cleaned daily with or without the guest's consent. I don't see it as negative because it's always feels good coming back to a neat and organized room after an entire day of wandering around HK. Don't worry about your valuables because the honesty of their staff is just commendable. Beddings, towels, complimentary stuff, are changed everyday as well with no cost.

A great hotel! One of the best boutique hotels in the T.S.T. area. We spent our anniversary and the staff was very accommodating with our requests. The location is great! You will find yourself surrounded by exceptional restaurants such as Ichiran, Sushi one and with just a 20 minute walk you can find yourself dining at a Michelin Star dish restaurant called Tim Ho Wan in Olympic City. If you're too tired to venture out, The building where the hotel is located has two fantastic restaurants found at the lower floors. Shopping is not a problem seeing that T.S.T. is haven for great stores and boutiques. Check out Loading Store a streetwear boutique just a few blocks across from the hotel. For transport, the best way to get around from the hotel is by using the MTR. The closest station is about 6-7 minutes walk away. The nearest bus stop is also around 5 minutes walk away. The best way to get to the hotel is either via MTR, Bus, Taxi or Uber. I highly recommend this hotel for it's location, service and cleanliness and I would stay here again on my next trip. They accept late check-ins too. Side Note: The main lobby is on the 5th Floor (gave us quite the fright when we got there around 2am and nobody was at the entrance) All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at Granville. It's very new (2 months old) and the location was perfect. It had so much character with the decorations and artwork on the walls. HIGHLY recommended. Sincerely, Francis Lopez

Location of hotel is superb and in comparison to surrounding similar hotels, is considered value for money. Hotel is less than 50m away from TST MTR station and is a leisurely stroll along Nathan Road down to the bay. A bonus would be it is next to the infamous Chungking mansions and also next to the famous Jenny biscuit shop in Mirador mansions. For those who likes Ichiran Ramen, it is also located about 250m away! Overall a pleasant stay.

Soravit is located smack in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui and so it’s easy to get around or hop onto the MTR. Nathan Road is barely a minute away and there are shops and eateries immediately downstairs as you step out of the quaint hotel. It’s rather new and so everything is still pretty much spick and span. We had a Superior King Room. While the room wasn’t large, the king-sized bed made up for it. It also has one of the best showers I’ve ever had. Housekeeping did a great job every day with the room and bathroom; all nice and clean. Adrian checked me in at the front desk and he was very polite and welcoming. I’d stay at Soravit again next time I’m in Hong Kong. Hop on the complimentary K4 shuttle from Kowloon Station; get off at the stop for Soravit and it’s just a couple minutes walk to the hotel. Stayed in Xi for three nights n enjoyed every moment of our time in HK! It's strategic location close to where most of the action takes place in TST was definitely an added bonus! The Avenue of Stars, Star Ferry Terminal n a host of other interesting places are all within walking distance from d hotel! Food outlets are aplenty all around d hotel; Chungking Mansion where one can get delicious Indian and Halal cuisine at affordable prices is just a stone's throw away: 3 minute walk to be exact! The East TST n TST stations are a 2 minute walk away from d hotel via d K11 Hyatt Regency Mall! It's a nice cosy place to come back to after a tiring day out exploring and shopping! The buffet breakfast is simple yet sumptuous and delicious as one gets a wide and tasty array of fresh buns n croissants, fruits, n hot freshly brewed coffee! The staff at the restaurant on the fifth floor are extremely pleasant and will definitely make your day; cos most of the people u encounter at stalls n shops can be the exact opposite: extremely rude! HK is a relatively safe place so walking from d hotel to places n back poses no danger whatsoever! My recommendation is if you r looking for a reasonably priced hotel minus all d unnecessary frills, then Xi is what u should be looking for! A beautiful clean n cosy boutique hotel!

The beds, shower, TV, AC were all great. The view was amaxing. The staff were so polite and helpful. The situated right beside all the best bars and restaurants in Kowloon and literally acroos the street from the rear entrance of the Chungking Mansions. Also right beside the Tsim Tsa Tsui rail station. The internet was incredible. Wireless and wired connection. I ran a test and it came back at 222mb per second and 155 upload. So fast. I would recommend and stay here again.
