"It was nice to see many of the items in the room "made in Hong Kong", enjoyed the smart TV (though it had another persons name on it) and the large bathroom despite a relatively small room. Staff was nice and helpful too. My best experience is the bed, sheets were soft, pillows were just right, blanket thickness was perfect and I slept 9 hours straight without waking up! On the down side, location is an issue. There are no convenience stores nearby, no restaurants as far as I could see (probably a 15 Min walk to the mall before u can find anything) so come prepared! "The overall stay was enjoyable, but there was 1 thing that could be improved. Even though the hotel was prepaid in full, they required a $1,000 deposit. First of all, this amount is very high, and second, it seems strange to require so much deposit when there is no risk of the customer skipping out on the bill. The hotel said it was for in case we damage the room via smoking or something (we don’t smoke). The biggest problem was that we did not know of this policy, nor did we bring enough cash to cover this exorbitant expense. Had we known of this policy, we would’ve booked elsewhere. The front desk clerk showed us a copy of the Agoda agreement, where the $1,000 deposit is mentioned, but in fine print. There should be a more noticeable warning before the customer pays, asking if they would still like to proceed to payment, knowing there will be a $1,000 cash deposit upon arrival, even after full pre-payment. The warning should also be in bold type, and possibly a color that stands out"

"Love the look and amenities of this hotel! It is very modern, clean, and hipster. My ONLY negative comment on this hotel is the LOCATION. It was a little difficult to find at first, but is only a 10-minute walk to the MTR. I could actually see the MTR run outside my window. Since I was struggling to find the place by walking, I got a taxi, who did not know how to get around to it from the MTR. The road to get into the alley is a one-way street that can only be accessible via the freeway. The hotel is hidden between car repair shops and construction sites. Be cautious when walking through the alley leading up to the hotel, it is VERY dangerous. I had multiple encounters with busy workers speeding through the alley in their pallet fork machines. I would only suggest this hotel to those traveling as a couple or groups. As for a solo female traveler, like myself, the walk back to the hotel at night was a little worrisome. "
