Hotels near Baclaran LRT Station

We’re going to watch a play in Newport Theatre so we decided to book this hotel. Originally booked twin room, but later had a change of plans so we requested to have 1 big bed instead. Despite confirmation with Agoda Direct Message, the request was not noted when we checked-in. Since no queen room was available according to receptionist, they just merged the 2 single beds. Not that comfortable to sleep in. Room assigned to us was also very dark even with curtains open. The lighting of the room was not that good. Space-wise, it was just as expected, small room with twin beds with just enough space to walk on. Sound-proofing was also not that good. We could hear the baby crying outside, and conversations of those passing by. Basic necessities were provided. Hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast buffet was just okay, nothing exceptional. The dining area was small and it was crowded when we visited so there was queueing. Parking area was also very tricky. There’s no direct access to B3-B5 from lobby so from lobby, you had to tranfer elevator. Quite a hassle. Location was good though. Very near to Newport. Considering the price of other hotels in the area, this one’s quite cheap (~100USD per night) so I must say we get what we pay for. Recommended if you plan to spend most of the time outside and just have some place to sleep.

From the airport, it costs about 140 peso in traffic so its easy to get to.We went to Makati one night, only cost 120 peso to the hard rock cafe for amazing dinner. Heritage Hotel is very close to Mall of Asia, costs 70 peso each way by taxi (some taxis will just say 100 peso flat each way, thats only $2.50) At the mall there are lots of restaurants, shops, movie theaters, play rooms for kids, and Baywalk area outside which has pubs and restaurants on the board walk. There are also rides for kids that will take a while for them to play while dads can enjoy beer at a table while watching mom or nannies with the kids. The hotel is very clean and next to Baclaran market for cheap shopping. Its a dirty area Baclaran, so be ready for the dirtiest smelliest walk with beggars on the way. Across the street from the hotel is burger king, jollibee, KFC, and kenny rogers roasters, so its quick food when you or your kids need it right away! Beds are a bit soft, but flat screen tv's, shower/tub combination, free coffee and kettle if you have infant who needs warm milk, and 2 double beds. 4 elevators so you don't wait more than 10 seconds when you hit the arrow button. Breakfast buffet is pretty good, yes almost same food daily, but a wide variety and a chef to make your eggs any style!

Stayed for 4D/3N as my base while attending an MD Convention. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I was given a room at the 21st Floor with a veranda (although the aircon compressor is located there blowing warm air), which offered an awesome view of the city. My Studio Suite was very large and spacious with a comfortable queen bed, a cable tv, a personal ref, a 2-seater sofa, a wardrobe cabinet, and a desk. The bathroom had a bathtub and hot and cold shower with free basic toiletries. The booking came with a Free Buffet breakfast with decent menu which they changed everyday. There are 2 floors of Free Basement Parking Spaces. It is also located beside a small mall. And there are many fast food restaurants around. It is also next to 3 (south-bound) provincial bus terminals, and an LRT Station. The only negative about this hotel are: the safety deposit box is broken, the linens and towels were worn out although freshly smelling. The aircon is also outdated but quiet.

I chose the hotel for its convenience and price (I have stayed at the neighboring Marriott Hotel a few times), but since I was staying longer this time and not really concerned about the amenities of a Five-Star accommodation, I was quick to book the Remington - and found it to be a very good hotel (my room was better than a 3-star rating, the lobby is great with a very good coffee bar, parking is easy - except the hotel did not have room service, a business center, gym nor a pool). It is conveniently located by the airport, with easy access to other parts of Metro Manila (because of its proximity to highways - I was amazed how quickly I got around). The Megaworld Casino next door with its accompanying restaurants and high-end shopping is a great plus.

Hotel is new yes, but the staff is highly professional, warm, and very accommodating - just what is expected from Filipino professionals in the hospitality industry. We’re only supposed to get 2 tickets, but the front desk manager gave us 3.. then when I asked for some more, he happily gave us his own ticket!! Hehehe! Each ticket costs P1,000 so this is a sweet deal! + Gave us P400/head discount for the buffet breakfast. Original price: P900/head. + Free shuttle service to and from Newport Mall. + Allowed for late check out for free, no conditions needed!!! Just call the client services desk in the morning. + Clean, modern rooms. Very peaceful. I had a good night’s sleep despite our room facing the busy NAIA skyway. + Food and bar inside the room are priced reasonably.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days.. good location food for commuters, its near the MRT and LRT stations. Tricycle and jeepneys or you can easily book a grab. breakfast was superb. Friendly staff. The one thing i hate about my stay here is the noise.. you can hear the people in the other room(shouting,TV,Laughing) esp. when your on the bathroom and on the hallway..(Walking) and if you knocked on both sides of the wall you will know that its made of a thin wood..

The capsule type is kinda cozy, well lit, even though the toilet is shared it's still clean. Well maintained... And the food it's delish.. A nice place for a solo traveler and just a few steps away from the mrt - lrt station... And if you're the kind of traveler who loves shopping baclaran and Mall of Asia is just a one way ride.. Jeepneys are available.. And there's a 24hrs fastfood beside the hotel..

I read so many terrific reviews of The Henry that my wife and I just had to give it a try on the second half of our Manila stay. I can only say that the hotel and staff exceeded our expectations in every way possible! We arrived early for check in with our adult son, who was staying for just a few days. After a really impressive lunch and a tour of the grounds our rooms were ready. Our son’s room was a spacious ground floor room and ours was on the second floor in the back. Both rooms were beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and well-appointed with spa quality soaps, and towels! The queen size beds were comfortable. Since it was the second half of our time in Manila we were a bit more laid back and wanted a hotel with an ambiance to match our mood. This was the place! Sit at the outdoor tables and a waiter will ask if you want a meal or a marienda, or just a drink of water. No pressure, no rush, just good service. Stroll the lush grounds take a book and sit near the pool or under a shady tree. Or if you want some shopping, there are three galleries with amazing treasures and helpful staff. Looking for that last minute souvenir? Try Honest Henry, a self-service shop in the hotel – yes, pick your item and leave your money in the box! We purchased two wonder necklaces at very reasonable prices. There are two parts to the location, a plus and a minus. The plus is that if you time the traffic just right (Manila traffic is always the issue anywhere in the city) you are 15 minutes from the Mall of Asia, Seaside Blvd. and if you are feeling lucky there are mega casinos nearby! And best of all depending on the time of day you can get to Aquino Airport in half an hour. Those are the neighborhood plusses, but on the down side, the neighborhood is not especially conducive to strolling and exploring. We only stayed here one evening, and would have liked to have stayed longer but unfortunately they were fully booked for next night. We had just arrived in Manila from El Nido so it only took about 10 minutes by taxi to get to the hotel. The lobby was very modern and the actual deluxe room we had with two twin beds was very spacious and clean. There was a fridge, hair dryer and kettle and the WIFI was excellent. The pool did not look very inviting so I never tried this out. Although we were under the flight path, we never heard any noise as we were overlooking the pool and the windows were double glazed. The location was on the main street, close to the Baclaran market, the LRT station and about 20 minutes to the SM Asia Mall. Staff were polite and very professional.

Me and my sister would always book in this hotel and we we're so happy that they opened a branch convenient to airport. The best thing on this hotel is the cleanliness of the hotel with a very accomodating staff..hopefully there will be a mall attached to it as most of there branches got malls on it...some entertainment room like billiards, bars or videoke with an affordable charges for all guest...

the staff at this hotel could not be more competent, accommodating or friendly. the take "service" to an unexpected level. the hotel location beside the mrt/lrt station made travel to most of the tourist spots easy--especially when considering manila's infamous traffic. it is also close to the mall of asia. it is a short ride to the new va facility near the sports arena also negatives: the hotel wi-fi was very sketchy on the 4th floor---i had to try three rooms before finding adequate signal; however, the staff was wonderful in their assistance. there were several hotel nearby that appeared to be in the same price range, but shogun would get my business again.

Nichols Airport Hotel is undergoing a big Restoration at this time. I have been staying at this hotel since May of 2013. I have never had a bad room but I have had rooms that were better than others. In all I have stayed here a total of 9 times with 2 or 3 times not thru Agoda but by making a reservation directly thru Nichols own website. By reserving a room thru Agoda you are going to save a great deal of money. Agodas website says you will save 20% by booking a room at Nichols thru Agoda. Personally I think you actually same more than that. Agodas website also rates the Nichols Airport Hotel as a 2 star hotel. I honestly believe this should be changed to a 3 star hotel. I would like to see Agoda investigate this further. I have stayed in MANY 3 and even 4 star hotels in the past that cost considerably more than Nichols and were not nearly as clean or nice as Nichols. The staff at Nichols has always been courteous and helpful and quite friendly. Another BIG BIG plus for me is the safe and secure Transportation Nichols provides for their guests. The vehicles are clean and well maintained and the Drivers are safe and very knowledgeable of the City and the cost is VERY reasonable for guests. Pick-up at the Airport is almost always on time depending on the traffic of course. All the Drivers I have had with Nichols Transportation have been very good. My personal favorite is Ramil who has been with the hotel for over 30 years. Are they perfect? No of course not. Their one weak spot is the coffee shop. The meals are pretty good but the selection is very limited and it is a bit on the expensive side. I do not even look for any other hotels now when I have business in the city I simply go to Agodas website and book a room at Nichols Airport Hotel. Yes they are an economy hotel and none of those expensive little bells and whistles other hotels have. But the cost is VERY reasonable they are very close to both the United States Veterans Affairs Outpatient clinic on Roxas B

For just 500 pesos more than Red Planet, you get sooooo much more! 2 free breakfast, HUGE room, California King bed, large bath with tub, couch sitting area next to window to do work. Also discount at their famous Kenko Spa and massage. Japanese style hot, warm, cold jacuzzis with multiple aqua massage stations, sauna, then 1 hour massage for 600 pesos.. Simply the best place for less than 3000 pesos all in. Best place to recharge for night activities!

I like everything about this place. Everything was so clean, the room is done right. Not huge but has everything you need and the bathroom was one of the cleanest I have ever seen. Everything is high end. The faucet and toilet the water heater even the toilet paper holder is not the cheap type. Even has a small balcony good for 2 people to sit. The staff really take pride in their hotel. I asked about the owner and they were happy to say great things about the family. I knew they had to be good people by the way the staff performed. I told the manager this is a very nice place and done right. The staff has really got to love working there to be so good. The breakfast was great, I mean like a high end restaurant, not like a 2 star hotel. Just a 10 minute walk to the US Embassy and 20 minutes to Baclaran. Plenty of street food near by and all the big fast food joints too. I could go on but, well the price, best $42 I have ever spent.

We're happy and satisfied on our 2 nights stay at DG Budget Hotel. Location is great, it is at the center of town, we can just walk from the hotel to the baclaran, market, souvenir shops, restaurants, and also walking distance to Terminal 4 domestic flight. We stayed in Standard Double room, it is clean and nice room. The service is good, staff are approachable and friendy. Thank you, DG Budget Hotel for the great stay and making our tour a memorable one!

The place was accessible and very near to the airport and MRT/LRT Station. however, there was no lift/elevator in the building but there are bellboys who can assist in case you have luggage. during my 2 stay, unfortunately there was no internet connection in the room due to maintenance and wifi is only available in the reception lobby (am in 3rd floor). other than that, if you only plan to stay there and relax and stay temporarily while waiting for your flight, its a good one.

Stayed here for 1 night just because we have a stop over in manila for 10hrs overnight. They provide a free shuttle service to and from the airport (removes the hassle of dealing with taxis). The hotel was only a few minutes to and from the airport which gives us more sleeping time. Hotel and room itself was clean and comfortable (not 5 star, but certainly better than what we paid for). We have stayed in transit hotels near the airport in manila before, this one so far is the best one for the value you get and comfortability. We will definately be using this hotel again should the need arises in Manila.

The 1st and only 6-star hotel to date in the Philippines, so I decided to try it out. When I got there, I searched around for the check-in area/concierge with no luck, until a guard pointed me to a small table by the staircase where 3 people were standing. I asked them where the check-in area was--turns out, that was the concierge. I asked them if they got my reservation via Agoda, which they confirmed, then told me to check-in around 2pm. I had lunch and returned 2pm, only to find the check-in table empty. The guard told me to wait by the table. After awhile, several staff members seemed to have noticed me and another customer who was waiting to check in, and you could see them moving around frantically and talking in their cellphones and radios. Despite paying a lot of money, I let slip the "invisible" check-in table, even the waiting time of 20 minutes because there was nobody in the concierge. What turned me off was the fact that other personnel noticed us waiting and did not entertain us. They looked disorganized. No seats were around so I was standing up the whole time, looking lost and stupid as I watched the staff panic around me. The other customer who was also waiting got tired and sat at the cafe nearby, and I was tempted to do the same even though the tables had signs that said "for the cafe customers only". The staff could have simply approached me and made sure I was comfortable while they sort things out. If they didn't have a comfortable waiting area, they could have seated me in the cafe and maybe even offered me a drink while I wait. A simple gesture such as this could've "controlled" the situation. If this was a 3-star hotel, I wouldn't mind, but this was a 6-star, I expected only the best. After all, it is the service that sets apart 5-star hotels, and I had never experienced this in 5-star hotels. Despite the lousy start, once I was in, everything was perfect--best service(excluding check in), design, and features I have seen so far.

wifi connection is fast. you will need to inform the staff if you want a room make over and what time you will be back so when you come back room is trash is already disposed and room already fixed. hot water for bath needs timing mixing of the faucet handle. there is P200 security deposit that will be returned on check out. baby roaches crawling everywhere so keep your food, utensils secured sealed in containers. bed has thick foam and very comfy, room is just good size has double locks and magic eye. though a small hotel space in reception area is limited, staff is friendly and accommodating and provides hot water at the concierge. near jolibee, chowking, mrt, lrt and walking distance to baclaran. will definitely get back as it is moneys worth.

It's located extremely close to NAIA. Miss Ressel and Miss She were extremely pleasant when they checked me in and out. The apartment was very clean and provided the great amenities and essential toiletries. Really cold air-con and the bed provided a great night sleep. Only caveat I had was that the building did not have record of my reservation and I spent time contacting Agoda to verify. I ended up eating lunch at near by resorts world and when I returned Ressel was there to check me in. I would definitely return!
