“Vale for Money Hotel HKG”
Quite a few surprises on this short trip to HKG. 1) Found Cozi Harbour View at a very inexpensive price for a 4-star hotel in Kwun Tong industrial area. 2) Walking from Ngau Tau Kok MTR station is only about 6-7 min if you knjow how to navigate across buildings (not difficult). 3) See the photo of the hotel entrance attached. To my chagrin, the hotel is facing a tall factory building and nowhere near a harbour. :) 4) Lobby is nice and check in was speedy. HKG people don't waste time. (if you hesitate ordering at a fast food counter, the lady will politely ask you to stand aside and say "next in line please".) 5) The lift is not the latest model but it works and fast getting me up to 29th floor. 6) See the attached photo. Biggest surprise, my room view just stunning. Facing the harbour looking at the old Kai Tak airport runway, end, now a cruise harbour. Awesome view. 7) Wifi, smart TV (but don't know how to operate it lol), a small fridge, toothbrush, etc. The room and bathroom reasonable size and CLEAN. Water pressure awesome for a nice hot shower. 8) i love the bed & pillow, hardness just perfect for me. Just awesome. 9) Just 1 minute away from the hotel, I found 3 local cafe, clean and food just awesome. Fast service and delicious. When you finished you better pay and leave. Or the waiter will ask you "what else do you need" while clearing up the table. Not rude, just local culture. If you wanna stay longer, order a drink, Tung Leng Cha or Lai Char. 10) Check out was speedy. 2 seconds. Wow. I place the room card on the desk and said Check out Please. The lady just said "All Good, Thank you for staying". LOL. 11) The walk to Kwun Tong MTR station is a little longer than to Ngau Tau Kok but worth it. Kwun Tong is a hub to shoppings and food. Just awesome.
