The accommodation is great, the price is good, and the facilities are complete. It's located within the university, so having your own car is recommended, but it's well worth the price.

“Comfortable stay with great perks as an IHG member.”

I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Manchester City Arena from June 26 to June 29, 2025, and had a great experience. As an IHG member, I enjoyed the benefit of a late check-out, which made my departure day much more relaxed. The staff were friendly and efficient, and I appreciated the smooth check-in process. Breakfast was satisfying with a good selection of hot and cold items. The hotel’s location is also very convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and transport links 250m to Shudehill Interchange Station. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay with the added perks of IHG membership making it even better. Would definitely return.

“Best locations to stay in Manchester for travel.”

You can go anywhere on foot. The cleanliness is very good. The breakfast is diverse, and the staff diligently refills and clears away, making for a pleasant meal. The bathroom exhaust fan was loud and didn't turn off until late at night, but it did turn off around 11 PM, allowing me to sleep. According to Agoda's hotel policy, it says that after parking at a nearby parking lot, you can request to purchase a fixed ticket for 18 pounds at checkout, but this is only possible with prior online purchase. In the end, I paid the full parking fee of 22.5 pounds.
