You walk through a small park. It's close to the night market and the shopping center. It is only 2 stations from the HSR so you can even fly direct to Taipei and then catch HSR train to Kaohsiung. As for the room, it is comfortable and clean. The bed is good. The breakfast is not bad considering it is vegetarian. Overall, excellent value for money. Highly recommended."
