First time in Club Balai. We are a family of 4. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment (Balete apartment), which is good for 5-6 people max. Overall, it was a nice experience. Worth the visit again, hopefully with our mother next time. 1. In our room, I liked that the beds (1 double bed and 1 pull-out) are placed in the bedroom. Saw in some units that the pull-out bed was placed in the kitchen area, just next to the main door. The matresses and pillows are soft too. 2. Toiletries (small soap and shampoo) are provided, except for the hand towel. You also need to request for the hair dryer. There's hot and cold water altho it takes time for it to work. No toothpaste or toothbrush. 3. We enjoyed the lights in our room. Haha 4. Our room has a refrigerator and a gas range. You can cook althought we never tried cooking. Just be mindful to clean after coz they charge if it's not tidy. Plates and kitchen utensils are provided too. Too bad there's no microwave oven though. 5. Facilities in Club Balai are good. There are some activities that you can do apart from swimming for a cost. Watersports are minimal, but the pool is enough for an overnight stay. There are 3 public pools I think. 6. So surprised to find a church inside. This is a nice touch, altho there's no scheduled masses. But you can visit and pray inside during day time. 7. You can roam around the whole area on foot or via the service. It's actually a very cool living place. 8. Outside food is allowed. No corkage fees. Not too many options nearby tho. 9. Friendly staff. They know how to treat their guests well. Kudos! 10. Parking can be quite a problem if you stay during peak season. Be ready to park a few blocks away from your unit as there's limited space in front of the apartments.

One small downside is that there is no in-house phone in the rooms, so you have to use your cellphone to contact the reception. As for the dining experience, I tried three of their restaurants, but unfortunately, the food didn’t meet my expectations. The portions and taste were underwhelming, and I believe there’s room for improvement to justify the price point. Overall, though, it’s still a lovely place for a vacation. The views and the atmosphere make it a great getaway, despite some areas that could use some refinement.
This was our first time visiting Club Balai Isabel in Talisay, Batangas to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our families and it definitely won’t be the last! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Their warm hospitality set the tone for a truly enjoyable stay. We booked two Superior One Apartments, which comfortably accommodated our group. Each unit was well-equipped with family-friendly amenities including a rice cooker, a small refrigerator with freezer, cooking utensils, a gas range, sink, and hot and cold mineral water. They even provided a sponge and dishwashing liquid — a thoughtful touch for those planning to cook. Each room came with blankets and towels good for six people, and the bathrooms were clean and functional with hot and cold showers. While our rooms were located a bit farther from the pool areas, the resort offers e-car service to conveniently take guests around the property. There are three pools to choose from, and our kids especially loved the one near the front office — it became their go-to spot for splashing around and having fun. Overall, our stay at Club Balai Isabel was relaxing, enjoyable, and family-friendly. It's the perfect destination for families looking to unwind and make lasting memories together. We're already looking forward to our next visit!
