Vung Tau hotels & accommodations

Perfect place for a short gateway, a bit isolated(3 hours from Saigon-an hour from Vung Tau city) but a one stop kind of hotel. stayed for 2 nights and we really enjoyed it.forgot to book our seats for the free shuttle from hotel to ho chi minh and due to weekend seats were fully booked but the staffs really doing their job amazingly, keep updating us for any posiblity...

the most grand and great hotel in vung tau. best feature and great looking hotel, very peaceful and nice poster and painting around also ice pools, gym and bars. the lovely and most like about is the bed, very very very comfortable, soo spongey and smooth. rooms are great too. toilet are nice build up. friendly and good services. im so satisfied in this hotel, i would ...

Strongly recommended hotel in Vung Tau with professional staff and high standard facilities. Breakfast buffet was also great. Location was near the beach, just a few minutes on foot, and easy to go to the center of the city. Just minor point about the sound proof and my room was next to the elevator which caused much noise during Saturday. Plus point that I received a ...

I booked 2 rooms in there however I never back again. The service very bad, I go there with my family but they release 2 rooms in 2 diffirent houses and very far and the recieption didn’t inform to us from the beggining, we only know it when I receive room. After that we want to change to another 2 rooms in 1 house but the lady manager didn’t support, she gave me a lot...

Very nice resort, nice big pool, good big breakfast buffet with excellent Vietnamese coffee. Our booking included a message at the spa which was excellent too! Nice private beach, muddy sea as in the whole Vung Tau area, didn't enjoy swimming there because of annoying little jellyfish. All the staff were very helpful and polite. Nice comfortable and quite big room.

For years, the only 5 star option in Vung Tau was The Imperial and i was really happy to see a Pullman locate there so i can have different option. The price in Pullman was competitive too so we decided to book 2 rooms for my group of friends. When we arrived around 12-1pm there was a large group tour (more than 5 tour buses outside) checking-out so we couldn't even fi...

Best location in Vung Tau, a quiet and romantic hotel looking out over the sea. The view at sunset over the infinity pool to the sea is just incredible. Indeed, it is worth coming here for the pool alone! Our room was spotless and well appointed. The staff are just gorgeous. So friendly and helpful. They booked transport for us to our next destination, and waited on us...

The facilities are exceptionally well maintained. The breakfast is a buffet with western and Vietnamese cuisine. Each day, there are different activities you can sign up for; on Saturday it's an all you can eat buffet with BBQ seafood dinner. The beach is private and clean - mosquitoes are not a problem if it's windy. Insect repellent is available inside your room. The...

high end resort hotel in vung tau, this is worthy of a 5 star rating for its accomodation and services. the rooms are new, well appointed, modern and clean. comfortable beds, large shower with hand held or huge rain spray, ocean views over vung tau to die for. book the top floor on weekdays for less crowds in and around vung tau. staff are helpfull, polite and willing ...

the room is very clean and has a lot of sunlight. the food taste amazing and has a chef that worked in a 5* hotel. the breakfast buffet is both Asian and westerner style so there's much choice of food while staying. the hotel has a small cafe in front of it so it's easy if you ever want to get a drink or just sit and enjoy the fresh air of Vung Tau. Overall, I very muc...

This hotel is about 100 km from Ho Chi Minh City, almost same as Vung Tau, but here you can relax much better because it is not crowded - only nature and long-stretching beach. Hotel's territory is very well designed, beautiful gardens and a long stream running along the main path with bridges and a lot of fish. There is even an orchid garden. A lot of places for kids ...

It's a wonderful resort in Phuoc Hai (can be in Vung Tau province). We stayed in a unit in condotel, feeling like a home. Resort has a beautiful swimming pool with blue/white color code. Breakfast was okie to me and we had dinner in resort too, not bad. The only thing I could not do is swim on the beach, is's too strong for me who can't swim well. Last thing is this re...

The apartment was very nice with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We booked for two days, but stayed an extra day because it was so nice. The included breakfast was better than we expected and the restaurant has a nice menu. The staff -- especially Wendy Hang and Sasha Kieu were very helpful and so very nice. We really enjoyed the very large and very clea...

Nothing bad to say! I got a very competitive last-minute rate, even my stay included one weekend night (Friday). Hotel clearly exceeded my expectations. Hotel is facing the sea, and even my "City view" room had a very nice partial seaview. rooms are what you would expect from a 3-star hotel, are very clean and everything worked properly. Tiled floors, which I prefer ov...

We came back The Wind second time, after trying with other resorts in Vung Tau. We found The Wind is still the best resort ever there. There are many changes of the resort compare to 6 months ago, more facilities were built, surrounding becoming more attractive. The only thing that bug us is breakfast, which was very good / nice 6 months ago but for now reduce in both ...

The palace hotel is a fantastic place to stay for the price you pay. Besides the obvious need of a little facelift around the place which did not bother my wife or I as it has everything a person could need. Staff are beautiful, friendly and helpful, buffet breakfast is great, meals at hotel are very well priced and it’s the only place I stay when in Vung Tau and I’ve...

We often go to the Imperial next door but this time we chose to stay in a more affordable hotel and it was very pleasant. The porter greeted us and took our bags to our room. The check-in was efficient with plenty of English and things looked good from the first impression of the lobby. Our room had a lovely view over the sea and back over Vung Tau city and the mounta...

I visited Valley Mountain Hotel for a few days to relax at the end of my trip. I stayed in the VIP room which were pristinely kept, very clean and comfortable. While I was in Vung Tau my camera when missing, the staff at the hotel were very helpful with calling up the restaurant and taxi company where I last recall having it to help me try and get it back. Unfortunatel...

This is one of very few hotels in Vung Tau that is located right on the beach without crossing road. The beach is pretty quite and we love it. They also provide local seasonal fruits in the room. Breakfast is alright but I wouldn’t suggest to eat lunch or dinner there. Overall I would come to this again since it’s clean and location is excellent

We had a pleasant stay at the resort, it was only for 1 night. It is very peaceful there (must still be low season as not many guests there). We had a room looking towards the sea which was lovely. It was also great to hear the waves crashing. The beach was fine, with fisherman dotted about. It was a pleasant walk along the beach. The staff were courteous and friendly....

Room is very clean and the facilities are quite good. Good - location is awesome. - Price is good but not the best among the hotels in Vung Tau city. - TV and the room is updated and very clean. Not so Good - The sofa in the lobby looks very used and dirty. The management should clean it soon. - The bar / coffee area looks very old, time for an upgrade as well...

We stayed 2 nigets in this hotel and had a great stay! It's an older hotel but everything works perfect. The style is quite charming in fact. The room is very spacious, we had a room room with swimming pool View, in my opinion the best option... The ones with sea views are more noisy because they have the boulevard in front. If you don't mind doing some stairs I wou...

This was the best 3 star hotel in Vung Tau, just select the sea view room. they have cheap food which was delicious, their Buffet breakfast was excellent. free fruits as complimentary, easy check in out. walking distance to the beach. Will surely booked again to this hotel.
Cheap places to stay in Vung Tau

At 180.000D, it was a very expensive hostel. I was certain that the quoted price was half that rate, but Agoda seems to have changed it when I booked, otherwise I could have a double room elsewhere for the price that I paid for a dorm. Popular with the Vietnamese, who all got up at 5.30am and caused a huge amount of noise, waking up the whole hostel. The hostel itse...

This is THE place to stay in Vung Tau. Not that the town has many options for hostels to begin with, but contrary to my expectations, this one turned out to be a rather good hostel by all standards. The staff are helpful and energetic. You can rent out bikes from these guys and there is kitchen if you want to use it. The rooms are nice and clean. There were 3 bunk bed...

There are many facilities of the life and near the seaside.it is very convenient for someone who travels in vung tau.i like this hostel.the hostess of this hostel and her husband are very kind and enthusiastic .if you want to travel in vung tau .i think that this hostel is best choice for you!

* Spotlessly clean * Only a 3 minute walk to the beach * Excellent WiFi connection and air conditioning * Worth every penny Ly is very polite, kind and helpful. She will assist with queries and booking transport. I stayed in the couples double room for 1 night, but I would have loved to of stayed longer. I will stay again!

I wouldn't necessarily recommend the town or the area, but the hostel/homestay is fantastic! The owner and his wife and fantastic and really made our stay as good as it could possibly be. We came in after wrecking our motorcycles and they did everything they could to try and help us. One of our phones got completely smashed and after finding out how much I was being ch...

The staffs were very nice, kind and helpful, especially the security guard. Was lucky to get a free upgrade so I was happy and pleased. The room were nice and clean with a relaxing smell, the bed was comfortable. Overall it was a very pleasant stay for me and I would definitely stay again!

The staff can speak decent English and they are very helpful. Right smack in the middle of everything, you can find food, bars, shops and massages easily. Just a 5mins walk to the beach where you can catch a stunning sunset :) The bunk bed is clean and comfortable, with privacy blinds too! Get a beer at the cafe downstairs and watch the locals go by :)

Stayed for 3 nights with my 13yo son. The owners were wonderful and offered great local advice when asked. We even went out for a local breakfast and on another occasion went for coffee with the owners. The honesty is a little out of the main touristy area at the beach but is a fantastic community in itself anyway. The homestay is convenient for a traveller on a bike, ...

The people who run this hotel are very friendly, their son can speak English, and that is really helpful :) The hotel is really clean, rooms nice and clean as well, have hot water, working TV.. The location is good, 5 minutes to walk to the main beach, but still quiet. Shops and restaurants in neighborhood, everything fine. Good deal for really good money, I can honest...

We stayed in the rooftop room with a wonderful view of the mountains and city...it was peaceful, relaxing and comfortable. The owner is a fantastic guy, we had some great conversations, he really looked after us and cooked fresh seafood for us that we bought at the local market. He even checked in on us to see we got back home ok. We have found our home from home in Vu...

Hotel is just by the ocean and nice beach so fantastic location. Room was clean, like in the photo, fridge, wardrobe, warm shower, Cable TV with English movies, comfortable mattress. Closeby 10 minutes walk a street with lots of food places. 100k for scooter for day. Just the staff could smile a bit more, no English at all.. and only one lady spoke a little English and...

We had a lovely stay, the room was like in the photo, big spacious, with a big shared balcony. Close to the nature reserve and Ho Coc Beach. Very lovely family that would cater to every need we had: when the shower was overflooding the owner fixed it straight away, when we needed boiling water to eat in the room the owner made it with no problem and when we rented bike...

They do not speak English, and they have cable TV *sometimes,* which is not what their ad claims. They insisted for reasons they could not articulate upon keeping my passport behind the reception desk, and when it was returned to me (reluctantly, for some reason) upon checkout, it was soaking wet. The room was covered in mold and cobwebs. There was a clothing bar in...

I would like to thanks Isabelle and her staff for looking after our group of 18 people from Australia. We had such a great time at An Hoa Residence. Communication : ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Internet : ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Host : ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommended Restaurants and Tour program ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ very clean and very reasonable price even the house doesn't need to turn on air conditioner beach, sea food market restaurants very near opposite the road Korean restaurant(⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) and Korean mart open till midnight also great view point in room!

I was supposed to come with two other people making this reservation for three people. Unfortunately that did not happen during to the other party dealing with a medical emergency directly. I appreciate the Netflix option as it kept me entertained and I am not sure there was much to do in Vung Tau.

We love the beach, especially Vung Tau. Over the last few years, we had not found a perfect place to rent until we stayed at Premium Beach Condotel. Our group has about 10-14 people with young children thus we need a big & clean place with 3 bed rooms, 3 toilets, spacious kitchen to cook, dinning place and a living room for our family to hang out and karaoke. We als...

Photos are very deceiving!!! I had rented a villa in Vung Tau before and it was a very nice house, so this time I did it again but it was a real BIG disappointment!!! How can a town house be classified as a villa! This so called villa is in a 4m road town house and doesn’t even have a place to park our car. Not worth for the money they charged!

The apartment is new and clean, with broad sea view, full facilities. The beach and pool is just in front of the building, private and clean. But the facilities around the pool like the common toilet is quite dusty, maybe due to construction. The area is quiet and quite isolated, around 5km from Vung Tau center, so it’s better if you prepare your own dinner or have it ...

We love Sanctuary Villas and this was our second trip back. The villa is huge and the pool lovely. The ladies who made us breakfast were great. The Cao hotel was beautiful and clean but still needs a bit more flare in the lobby area. It's still very new and needs a bit of a womans touch...The rooms were perfect as was the views of the beach. Real reviews for hotels
Beautiful city, surrounded by the sea. Unfortunately, a tacky vibe. Girlie bars where many oil rig workers, Aussie war vets, older men sitting in bars hang out.
Vung Tau an island away from city. The road is not crowded with vehicular as city and the pace is much slowly.
Vung Tau was one of my favorite vacations in Viet Nam. Fresh seafood! Friendly people. Very relaxing.
Nice city, nice beach, friendly people, however, watch out for being ripped off by street vendors and cheap motels.
A coastal city with different beaches. The sea water is not so clean since it is near where the river outflows to the sea.
We got a taxi, Mr Hung, he took us around the island for 2 hours to visit the sites. For me it was the best way to visit the island, see the main sites and stay cool.
NOT MUCH TO DO HERE UNLESS YOUR YOUNG AND INTO LOCAL GIRLS FOR THE NIGHT LIFE FEW BARS NEAR THE SEA (Ha Long Street).
Vung Tau is a quiet and sleepy little place that houses retired Westerners and is a base for workers in local industries.
Vung Tau is a pretty nice beach city, only 2-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh city. However, the local government officials need to work more on raising people's awareness in keeping the beach as well as public attractions clean.
Two hours on a comfortable Phuong Trang bus from Saigon, Vung Tai is a small city on a peninsular with beaches on both sides and some great seafood.
A nice town to spend the weekend. It would be much nicer if the beach would be clean as it is right now quite dirty.
It is a nice and romance city. Its very good location attracts all travelers from HCMC, which is only about 1hour driving in the very modern highway nowadays.
A vibrant and never stopping city. Good people with out anger.cheap but good quality food. Best looking ladies in the whole world .
It's take only 2hrs drive from Hochiminh city. Can make a short and easy city escape to have some fresh air and relax
Great sea resort city but make sure you have a local expert to go with....to avoid being ripped off by dishonest local guys!
The ferry has resumed with two services a day, and now a good VIP bus connection every half hour. It's possible to do a lot in a couple of days.
Lots of places for drinks and music. Now has a new lottemart so more places to shop. Easy to ride around a bike.
Average Vietnamese town with nothing much to see but the Laughing Buddha statue and the Jesus Statue.
This is very relaxed beach area that comes alive at night time with lots of street vendors. The police is trying to kill the street vendors by the beach, so every time the come out to spoil the night life, the options of finding street food diminish in the beach area.
Vung Tau is purely for relaxation, drinking and eating and is worth it for those three things. Not many tourist attractions but a lovely little Gold Coast(Australia) minus the tourist attractions.
It's a oil & gas hub, so many travelers here are for business. I would not recommend the city for vacations, in spite of the top class food and spa.
Ganh Hao restaurant, a lot of seafood with fair price, Gazebo cafe facing toward the beach with good view
Vung Tau is a nice place to relax and get to know the local community activities. It is attraction mainly for the local.
nice city, I love to enjoy coffee or ice cream at one of coffee shops along the beach & watch sunset
Vung Tau is a nice place to visit you can hire motorbikes or bikes so that you can do your own thing or you can go on organised tours it is up to you we hired a motorbike and went of on our own it was fantastic we saw a lot of countryside
The city is so much more than front and back beach. Take the time to get on a bike and explore. The city is growing and improving facilities.
Well positioned in Vietnam, Quiet compared to other Cities, Good sightseeing and the people are very friendly.
Very friendly people, easy to get around, nice beaches, and great mountains. Prices for food, lodging, and shopping are very reasonable.
Vungtau is pretty fun. We went to watch the dog racing at Lam Son stadium.. really enjoyed coming here.
not very nice beach, but can enjoy fresh air along Thuy Van street in coffee houses and watch sunset
