We recently stayed at this beach hotel, and hands down—the beach is the best part of the entire experience. The sand isn’t exactly powdery white, but it’s the nicest compared to other beach hotels we’ve tried in Subic. The water is clean, clear, and there were no jellyfish, which made it perfect for swimming and relaxing with the kids. The room we stayed in was spacious, with two big beds—great for families. However, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. The tiled floor was so dirty that we couldn’t walk around barefoot. We actually ended up buying slippers from the mall because the room slippers provided just weren’t enough. The sink wasn’t clean either, mainly because of its outdated design. If they would just upgrade the tiles and improve the overall cleanliness, I’d honestly consider coming back every year just for the beach. One major downside was the extra charge for kids—even our 3-year-old, which was disappointing considering the room rate was already over ₱8,000. For that price, we expected more, especially since other hotels at the same rate offer much better rooms and more complete facilities. They charge like it’s Boracay, but the experience doesn’t match up—this price in Boracay could already get you a stay at somewhere like Hennan, where kids stay free. On a positive note, I had a massage during our stay and it was the best part of the whole experience. Also, the restaurant staff were all friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the front desk staff wasn’t helpful when it came to explaining the rules about the kids' fee, and they only accept cash for the security deposit. It’s 2025—everyone’s using GCash or bank transfers now. Overall, if you’re just here for the beach, it’s definitely worth a visit. But for the price, they really need to improve the rooms and facilities.
We have stayed here many times and I have left good reviews about this property. Unfortunately, they have made some changes. Not for the better. In there top tier rooms the bed comes with only one sheet. They have a comforter for your cover sheet, but that only gets washed about once a month, according to there staff. So who knows how many people who have had that comforter against their skin? I find that unacceptable. So I asked for a second sheet and they said that this is the way they do it now. I insisted on a second sheet and they said they would have to find one, actually two, because we had our children with us. They also informed me that there will be a extra charge for the second sheet, each night. Again we have stayed here many times and I have left good reviews. Some things should not be cut back on. I explained that it probably costs more to wash a sheet than a comforter. They just smiled and said it's fine, that's the way we do it now. With that said, the staff has always been great and it's been a great beach for our kids . They need to do some remodeling and quality control issues. Then we would look forward to returning.
We booked this hotel on the same day we visited Ocean Adventure, and it turned out to be a great choice! The location is very convenient—easily accessible to all the activity parks if you want to experience everything in the area. The receptionist was very nice and accommodating, which made check-in smooth. Although the room is a bit old, it was surprisingly clean and well-kept. The beach area is also a big plus—clean, with no rocks, making it perfect for swimming. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely come back again.

“Family vacation”
I firstly booked on a week that turned out to have very bad weather. Camayan staff were very accommodating in having this date changed to another week even though I made a booking wherein you are supposedly not able to amend it. On arrival the staff were very kind even up to the restaurant where, special mention, Moi was very friendly and helpful. They have a buffet breakfast included in the room rate and it is very worth your money. Filipino dishes, two choices of fruits, salad bar, bread, two choices of juice, cereal and brewed coffee (the most important hehe). The restaurant has a good variety on its menu as well. Had good options to have rice meals up to feeding my kids fries (which are big fries and a pretty big serving) and pizza. It is a very nice place to bring little kids as the room is very spacious, the pool is just nearby and clean and the beach is immediately accessible and clean as well. Though yes there is some small amount of trash that would float to the shore but not too bad. My kids were still able to splash happily on the shore and the eldest was able to swim a bit in the shallow water and see fish :). The location of Camayan is perfect as it is right next door to Ocean adventure and a short drive away from Zoobic. The last time I went there was 17 years ago and there is definitely a fair amount of improvement. Will definitely bring my family there again ❤️
