"This place is still family-owned & runned. Besides of running a Restaurant they offer two Appartements which are fully equipped, have aircon and a bathroom for your own. The owner told me that after the end of November they will finish another 4 Appartements, so you have plenty of room to stay.
Since you are located in the north means that it is less crowded but therefore the infrastructur is not as you might used to be in the south or duong dong. That being said the oldest of the brothers (phom) offered me to use his motorbike so I can visit the beaches nearby. Furthermore he gave me a Free ride to the Pier so I can catch my ferry. He never asked for money and did everything Just because of pure friendlyness and hospitality.
To make your stay perfect: the food and drinks they serve are the best I have eaten in Vietnam / Cambodia. The prices are realy cheap. 1-2$ for a Main dish, 0.50 for a beer... But you need to be into seafood since Phom also offers the opportunity to go fishing and they are serving the catch of the day :)
All in all I can fully recommend this place for a couple of days. The hospitality is amazing.

"Well , absolutely depends what you are after . The little complex is some lovely bungalows , and that's it. A sweet lady will cook you something to eat during the day and she's always around and a Jem . But , it's a one horse town with absolutely nothing going on after dark and only a couple of coffee / cafes to offer . Very very isolated but directly on the beach. Has good wifi too . DO NOT GO UP YHE COAST ROAD WITHIN 2 Momths of this post. It's an impassible track. 3 hours to do 25km of mud they are on with an upgrade now , oddly the main road up the middle is fantastic . Summery , lovely location to read and ponder . But very isolated with zero facilities . "

"If you are looking for a 4/5 stars hotel in front of the beach, well, this is not your place. Pepper Farm is located in the middle of nowhere, with surrounding roads still under construction, so you have to hire a bike even if you do not want to. We stayed in a family wooden hut with an open bath, which was kind of surprising and at the same time fun, the room is big enough for 2 king size beds with mosquito nets, it also has a small balcony to look at the clear sky at night. Seafood is fantastic, we never went hungry here, plenty of food. Do not forget to buy their handmade pepper, just delicious. Very nice staff and good place to disconnect from the rest of the world."
