It has been a long time since I visited Cheung Chau, and this time I stayed for a night with an old friend who came back from abroad. The room we checked into was somewhat different from the photos, but the overall environment and hygiene were acceptable. When I was a child, my experience of staying in a resort in Cheung Chau was average, but this time it felt better. The pillows and mattress are certainly different from those in regular hotels, but sleeping was quite pleasant. The location is near the pier, and it’s a short walk to the beach. There are supermarkets and snack shops near the pier, which is very convenient. There were three of us staying, with an extra single bed and a double bed. There was a small fridge. The bathroom door didn’t have a lock. It would have been even better if there was a small table. The room rate was $768, and Agoda offers a rebate after two to three months, which is $80, making the effective room price $688. It would have been even better if I could upload pictures. Additionally, I would like to mention that during check-in, the staff member specifically told us that they do not cooperate with Agoda, although I didn’t quite understand what he meant, and he also received my booking information from Agoda. Overall, this experience was quite nice; I would rate it positively!
