I decided to book a 3-bedroom villa for my family (3n2d), so I was a bit worried if everyone would like it; the result was very good, especially the property with many green trees and the quality of the villa and its furnishings were all new, clean, and beautiful. It felt very luxurious and comfortable. The pictures of Angsana matched the reality. I read reviews from previous guests and knew that the lobby of the villa was indeed small, so I encourage everyone to go during the week to avoid going during peak times to prevent the lobby from being full. The receptionist was very friendly and recommended to us the Quý Mập oyster restaurant (14 km away), which suited our taste; it wasn't too sweet, delicious, and reasonably priced. The adults appreciated it, and we dined there both nights during our stay, then went for a stroll in the nearby beach park and Phước Hải market (which sells ice cream, bubble tea...). People can also eat in the pedestrian area of Hồ Tràm (at Ba Phi or Mỹ Lệ 2), but I heard it's more expensive than Quý Mập. Angsana is close to the bridge to view the Hamptons beach, which is very beautiful at dawn or dusk. The recreational activities, including the soap bubble entertainment, were very fun and suitable for children. As for the drawbacks: 1. The adults in my family found the breakfast buffet at Azura to have fewer dishes compared to other resorts we've stayed at, and the pastry section mainly catered to Western tastes. 2. Another point to note is that the kitchen in the villa doesn’t have eating utensils (bowls, spoons, forks...) and you have to pay to rent them (20k per item); people can bring disposable utensils to solve this issue (though I hope Angsana will consider making adjustments). 3. I couldn't contact the resort by phone during our stay, so when we left the resort, I had to message via Facebook/Zalo. 4. When calling for an electric vehicle to pick us up, sometimes we had to wait a long time. One time, after informing the restaurant staff to call a car for us to return to the villa, the car never arrived, and another time from the Dhawa lobby to the villa (after returning from dining out) was similar. In fact, after waiting a while, we decided to walk back, which was fine since the area isn't that large. But it would have been better if the staff had suggested we walk instead of agreeing to the request for the electric car but then making us wait a long time. 5. There were ants in the villa, just in a few small spots, and the staff did come to address it, but the resort should find a way to fix this. IN SUMMARY: My family had a lovely vacation with relaxation and fun. I found Angsana to be very good already, and I hope the resort will consider my feedback on the drawbacks to help make the guest experience perfect. 💝
