“Friendly staff & great facilities, but room smell needs improvement”
I stayed at this hostel recently and here’s my honest experience: Staff – Super friendly and welcoming! She speaks English very well, which made communication easy. Location – Not the easiest to find at first since there’s no signboard or visible hostel name. A bit of effort is needed to locate it. Cleanliness: • Reception area: Smelled so good and felt very welcoming upon arrival. • Bedroom: The room itself was tidy, but unfortunately had a musty smell, especially from the bed sheet (like it wasn’t fully dried). Unlike the lovely scent at the entrance, the whole room had an unpleasant odour, which was disappointing despite the tidiness. • Toilet: Clean and dry, but there was an unpleasant urine smell 🫠 Facilities – Excellent! They provide a hair dryer, big refrigerator, shower gel, shampoo, towel, well-functioning air-conditioner, and even Netflix. Everything worked well and made the stay more comfortable. Overall – This hostel definitely offers value for money. I just hope they can improve on the smell and cleanliness details for a better stay in the future.
